Well, now...
So much to love here. The best compliment I could pay is that I think this would be a strong contender for the main field. It's that damn good. You've nailed the look and obviously the buildings are spectacular - love the use of the water planes lol. But the things that most leapt out to me are how well you got the Sand Hills vibe - the expansive routing is just perfect and I felt totally lost in the sandhills, it never felt empty in spite of the limitations of the grasses you used, the bunkering is so totally on point and I also felt you nailed the greens in a way you didn't quite on Ryland. The use of narrower shapes and subtle contours are really good and will bring me back for multiple plays. It's a blast. Some portfolio you are building here.

This is just so good. I love the environment, the openness of it without it feeling barren. The course played really well, as well. No tricked up greens, no stupid fairways, just a straightforward course that made sense. Really well done!

Beautiful, engaging, and immersive golf course. One that I'll be returning to on every pin set, new lighting conditions, etc. Routing had great flow, bunker styling was fantastic and planted beautifully. The buildings were pure class. My only very minor critique is that it felt like all of the par 5s played in roughly the same direction. I don't recall my exact wind direction but at 7-10 mph it seemed like the wind was in my face and just strong enough to preclude all of them from being reachable in two. Of course, there's no need for every par 5 to be a two-shotter...I love the three-shotters as well. But just from a variety standpoint, one easily reachable but also treacherous par 5 would have been welcomed. Granted, I know you have to make calculations and tradeoffs when routing the course, and in the opposite wind direction, they would probably all be reachable and I'd be asking for a three-shotter! So maybe just ignore me.
Anyway, I loved it. Surely among the best courses in the game that I've played.

SICK! edit: just finished up our rounds on it during no tempo Tuesday on McConnell’s channel. Lives up to the hype.

Just an exceptional course. Don't usually take the time to comment on this forum, but had to say something on this one (particularly as a Wisconsin native). Also just bumped up the settings to 60 FPS recently, and it definitely does this course justice.
Beautiful layout and contrast in colors, and it's not overly challenging but does require a bit of thought as you move around the course.
Love the 9th hole approach in particular. One of the more unique clubhouses I've seen in this game.
Would have liked to see a bit more of a penalty on a few of the fairways but I'm not complaining about the light rough. Ultimately looking forward to adding this to my society and seeing what folks in my group think. Splendid job!

You dominated the par 3 game. Some of the best collection of par 3s I’ve seen. Also the lighting you used throughout the course to put shadows on the bunkers to make the fairways and greens pop were immaculate.

Amazing course. Really well done. One of my favorites, after just the first play.
The course does an amazing job feeling unique, yet natural, like every quirk and feature is a part of what was given. It feels so realistic, and like it was would be one of the top 10 courses on the planet. Not many courses I could say that about, especially not courses that are land-locked.
I know you went for a "natural" feel, based on your description, but I can't say enough how well you did. I will learn from this course in both planting and in the variety in my future courses. Thank you for this publish!

This is definitely one of my favorite courses I've played out of the WCOD bunch. It also helps I scored really well! Really good work!

Well this is just lovely. It's not full of tricky design or anything that will shock you or anything...but it's lovely and comforting. It's the golf version of "coming home". Comfortable, beautiful, enjoyable. I want to end my round and sit on the deck around a fire pit telling lies and laughing too loudly.
Really good stuff bubba.

Easily deserves to be in the main field but you'll have plenty of them to compete/contend in going forward. I loved the textures, the lighting and the planting and it all felt really natural and immersive. My favourite holes were 3,5 & 18 but there were no dud holes at all imo. Great job mate - congrats.
