Appreciate all the kind words above. The water was quite a battle the whole way and the one thing this course is not suitable for is a True Sim approach (I say this having heard that it may be going on True Sim: please rethink your decision, yardage book view will not help players).
I have also realized that I am yet to master the art of bumping my own thread dozens of times by responding to every comment individually. Oh well.

Two birds, one stone.

Hey Thomas,
Played a couple of rounds and really liked the low country estuary quality to this course. Lots of great moments peering through the grass. The coastal areas of the course are very cool as well. As always the strategic qualities of your courses are super well thought out, every hole is asking questions.
Standouts:
Hole 7: Great look off the tee and I really like the green sitting down in that depression. super fun to careen balls off that hill short left Hole 9: simple short hole but a beautiful green site amongst the trees Hole 10: Love the dirty ravine feature on the left. Super fun green. HOle 13: Great perched green site with the lagoon beyond Hole 14: Great low profile look off the tee. the cant of the front part of the gree nmakes for some fun approaches from the left. HOle 15: Another great look off the tee. Feel like in a bird sanctuary. (maybe you should add some birds and mosquitos to really amp up the environment) Hole 16: some seimnole vibes at the green. HOle 17: ANother low profile stunner par 3. Such a pure look off the tee. Like the spine in the green as well.
Great clubhouse as well!
Awesome work capturing the unique quality of this environment. plus any course with a meth lab is a winner in my books.

Really enjoyed this one bud👍🏻! Environment was very good and the contouring, especially on and around the greens, was terrific. Not easy for a Florida course! 5⭐️ and a favorite for me! Good luck in the contest

Really appreciate all the kind words Rob, glad you’ve picked up on a lot of the subtleties. Environment stuff was a lot of fun to play with as well, especially as the land didn’t provide as many natural sightlines as Carbondale.

Think the best compliments I can pay this course are:
1) I keep coming back to it 2) It gets better every time
I liked it first time around. I love it now. Great stuff, Petro.

I still really enjoy this course too although I have to play it with tempo off because of lag (on a Nintendo Switch). One of the best environments in the contest!

CAMP LONESOME: blue tee/pin 3
Love the first green contours, need to get your angles right on your tee shot.
Second hole has a great greensite and great bunkering on the right, tricky hole and I love it.
Random bunker right off of 3 tee is awesome, best irrelevant bunker in the game haha, really love the swale short of the green.
4th hole reminds me of the 4th and Streamsong Black, albeit a par 4 here, good strategy and we'll see one or two similar strategies later on. I love how the single greenside bunker dictates how the entire hole is played at the 5th.
The 7th has the best looking tee shot so far from me, great look.
Tough greensite on 8, tricky second shot but like the vertical hazard short left dictating the play.
9th is the best par 3 on the course, front (right) bunkers are awesome, super interesting sculpting, it's the most natural greensite so far.
Very interesting and deceiving sightline on 10, really likes the green contours here.
Awesome greensite and more great green contours on 12. 13 has another really good greensite and the greenside bunkers look very cool built up from the water/sandy beach.
Keeping up the steak of awesome green contours again on 14.
15 has good strategy and a really tough approach, fun/ subtle fairway contours make it standout for me. Really like the tee shot on 16, greenside bunkering transitions are very cool.
17 has a nastyyy green! I love it obviously.
Perfect bunker layering on the tee at 18, tough approach to the front pin and makes you think where you want to leave it, great green to finish the round.
All in all, I'm a huge fan of your work and I loved this course as well. It's right up my alley with the low profile nature and a great, realistic setting. I have played it twice now and it keep it's playing interest all the way through each time. I think these are your best greens so far and it was nice seeing how they had their own personality as there wasn't much elevation for them to work off of. That's tough to do. Good vibes man!

Really appreciate this from you Adam (cutting the quote down in case some schmuck decides to scroll around in here), seeing as the reasons you like this are the same reasons I loved Usonia. Speaking of which, you may have convinced me to hop on the FLW bandwagon for National Treasure...

This is such a fun course! I know a lot of this has already been said, but I'm just gonna say it again. First off, I love the planting. It really felt like you nailed the Florida vibe, especially with the little islands of bushes off the course, lots of nice detail there. Also, even though this course is super scoreable, I never really felt like any hole was just an auto-birdie. I felt like I had to think the whole time and use the ground game. That's probably why I've played this thing 5 times already. Loved the course and good luck in the comp!

Wow, this is really really well done. I definitely see a through-line in your design style and I love it. You have a distinct perspective and a really good strategic eye.

TannerBronson I think I'm getting the hang of the self-bump Here goes: agrainger12 - Glad you picked up on the extended glades in the ocean - always loved that little touch. Environment was definitely a fun build and I'm very happy with how it turned out. As for the ground game stuff, I definitely wanted this to be the antithesis of typical Florida golf, hence the lack of retaining walls and target holes. WhatAboutAmeobi - Loved that playthrough buddy, always fun to hang out and watch you pick up on the smallest of details. alejandroacantilado - This comment definitely rings true with what I try to do in terms of my design arc: The side projects I publish between contests are always meant to help me get comfortable with certain aspects: for instance, the flatness of Potunk and the ground game options of Last Dollar both helped in the build of this course, and it's great to see someone following along.
