I don't know wtf happened? The lag is really bad on some parts of the course but I managed it ok in the first round. Wasn't going to play round 2 but I was feeling so good I thought I should. Bad decision!! NINE on the 1st after going in the water twice, a laggy double at 3, completely lost control of the putting line to an extent that I'm really not sure it was all me. I missed have missed 6 putts inside 8 feet by pulling them to 10 o'clock. I never do that!! I'm at a loss. Still, I think that's only my third alby in 6 years and 4 games! Sadly that's not the images of those rounds that I'm left with. By the way, excuse the hair! It's for the Ryder Cup we're currently playing. That's going crap too! Nice! I've never gotten an alby that I can remember, and that goes all the way back to PGA Tour Golf II on the Sega Genesis. The course was super twitchy for me too, particularly the 3rd green and pretty much all of the Par 3s. Definitely cost me a stroke or two.

2nd Round -6
The game continued on with the drama until the 25th minute as Celtic created a couple of excellent chances through Elynoussi and Edouard. There was a lull in proceedings and only a couple of scares at either end kept the fans' attention. As the half wore on the home team started to create 3 more clear cut chances with McGregor and Christie troubling the Northampton defence.

Welcome Sports Fans We have an exciting game here between the Reds and the Villians. Coming out of the sheds, Villa got off to a slow start. Liverpool were a touch better, were playing OK. A few good passes through the middle and the Reds score in the 18th mminute through a header from Salah, with Mane awarded the assist with a great cross. 1-0 (-8) Later in the first half, Villa were preparing to make a substitution. It seems they were making a triple substitution when one of the lights blew. 3 players came on, but nobody went off. The referees missed this and allowed play to continue. Having the extra players caused confusion, and the Villa players were tripping over themselves. Through all this, Milner made a great run down the flank and slotted the ball to Salah, who cut back in and scored in the top corner. 2-0 (-14) After the halftime break, Villa (still with the extra players) were passing the ball with aplomb. A beautiful ball from Luiz to Traore resulted with a shot to the bottom right corner. Alisson didn't move, he was just standing there, counting with his fingers, looking confused. 2-1 (-6) The Reds had a late run after the ref finally caught on to Villa's tactics and ordered the 3 extra players off. A brilliant save from Emiliano Martínez cleared the ball only to Henderson, who was just outside the box. He quickly got control and scored with a shot to the top right corner. (-12) Final score 3-1 Great game avjpfc

I'm embarrassed to post this. Round 1 +1 Round 2 +1 Jamie Giraffe72 sorry I couldn't offer better opposition - waste of an alby? No I'm sure it wasn't. Congrats on a great shot! It's half-time and Chelsea are at their lowest ebb. The owner is questioning his move in acquiring the club at all and after this season may fade back into the Beer League. We'll see if we can recover but it's not looking good for Master difficulty. Thought I was ready but obviously not.

3rd Round -8 As the second half got underway Celtic were determined to get something going and had a few chances through Edouard and Ntcham. Northampton made their presence known with a few forays into the Celtic box and had an excellent opportunity on the 59th minute mark. This seemed to spark Celtic into action with Ntcham showing his ball skills as he pulled the strings in midfield. The Bhoys kept the pressure on the visitors as Forrest, McGregor and Ntcham all having efforts on goal.

After going down a goal Herne Bay's heads sunk a bit and it looked like the Canterbury Drag Artists were going to score again, but in the last five minutes of the half the Bay started keep hold of the ball and attacked the Canterbury goal and just as the whistle blew for half time the ball ends in the net, but does the ref allow the goal . Even for the rd During the half time break we will serve the Dragons one of the local brews from Shepherd Neame brewery or Sh!t & Scream as it's known around here. You'll find out after a few .

I'm still not sure how the scoring works around here. I admit to feeling a tad despondent after the second +1 in a row. We'll see how the second half goes. I won't be giving up!

Chelsea have started the second half in a much better frame of mind. There was an air of positivity in their early play that was lacking in the first half. Still lamenting a couple of wasted free kicks in good positions just outside the box. At least one of those should have been converted, if not both

Very blustery conditions at Stamford Bridge late in the second half. Chelsea players actually handled the difficult conditions quite well - but made lots of silly errors. Missed a few short putts and that frustrates me like nothing else. Managed two bogeys in a row on the back to back par 5's - gotta be an own goal - right?

Pixel Golf Football Season Two - Championship division, week 2: Hyvinkään Palloseura (1W, 0D, 0L) @ Tranmere Rovers (0W, 0D, 1L), first half
Recollections from the road: After a very convincing and thorough victory last week and having their celebratory moments since they got paid some bonus money courtesy of the sponsor last week, the boys were hanging out doing... whatever there is to do in Northampton. The next tour stop would still be in England, just some 150 miles up north in Tranmere. To some of the team, particularly the Finnish contingent of it, this was a confusing thing to hear. "Wait, are we going back home already?" one of them asked. He had misheard that we are going to Tampere, Finland (and yes, I actually am not making that up this time), but instead it's Tranmere. I can see why you'd get confused, the first one is a beautiful place to be in. I'm sure Tranmere is perfectly fine too, just have never been there before so I wouldn't know. They head off after blowing up a local pub with their grand personalities and capabilities to drink everyone under the table, because hey. They're part of a Finnish team, and it's customary to be able to hold your liquor or you're not a real one. Stereotyping and gatekeeping is always fun.
Now, onto the game itself! As it has been stated in the title, a tale of two different teams last week. That was last week though, it's always a new chance once you're on the pitch again. So of course, the Finnish (and others since it's a multinational group of players) lads are not taking this for granted, even if they're feeling it right now. They might also be a bit hungover from the almost week long alcohol binge, because...
...they get off to a very sluggish start, mistake after mistake. They get a very early shot at goal, but then a mistake at their own end allows the opposition to get a chance at scary counterattacks. They have a very good look at the 17th minute of the game and who knows where that ball heads from there, although right at the next minute there's another fumble which could turn out to be costly. Our keeper, the Sierra Leonese legend Bol Kacha has to be on his toes today since he got off easy last week. (Round 1: -3)
Although the first quarter or so of the game looked flat at places, the boys rally up and are blitzing and hammering the goal of the opposition more and more towards the end of the half. Shot after shot goes at the net, surely one of the many shots finds a way in before the half concludes? Or will it be the slightly missed opportunity right at the death of the half that ultimately sends the team away to the locker room even more pissed off? (Round 2: -10)
At half time, Coach Imot is once again looking to get that little bit extra out of his boys. The slip ups at the start were unacceptable, and he knows it. However, the boys have been spoiled enough with peanuts from last week, so how does one motivate them further? Well, his approach is to go on a quick motivational speech, filled with "perkele" and "saatana", with quotes like "you can't miss a 2 meter pass 3 meters wide!" and "you call that a shot?! THIS is a shot!" as he kicked a paper ball right at some poor guy's face. Wait... was that supposed to be motivational? Oh, my bad.
