I always find it amusing when people describe this place as some sort of awful, corrupt Soviet government when the reality is we're just a bunch of dorks who like building and playing fake golf courses. But the nature of the beast is that a lot of people bring their egos along with their designs, and therefore whatever chip on their shoulder or whatever unresolved emotional issues they carry around with them. We don't want you guys to leave, we're not trying to force you out. But I'm also not dealing with more BS than I'm forced to, and if people are completely incapable of behaving like a functional human being, than why should we humor them at the expense of everyone else? This is one of the first things that's actually made sense here, sir. I mean that honestly. I think I've said what I've needed to over the past couple months. No matter what, yes I think there is a clique, and only those that pump the tires of the OGs stand a chance. I'll never be a kiss up. I know almost all of you will disagree with that and that's okay. We'll chalk it up to the fact we'll absolutely never see eye to eye - and I'll try not to revisit it. I guess I'm just not adjusted to "dork" culture as you say it. In my circles we say what we mean and back it all up if needed. I guess it's memes and subtleties here. I'll try to comport myself better moving forward. Don't think I don't understand I've been my own undoing on more than a few occasions. If you honestly can't tell the difference between "brown nosing" and being asked to treat other community members like human beings, then you're truly hopeless and nothing of value will be lost when you leave. Was that real enough for you, or was there too much subtlety there for you? |

Anytime forum drama bubbles up to the point I stumble upon it that's not a great sign. I've had my fair share of patience over the years for those that like to push boundaries - unfortunately, most of that patience has been worn out. Please just enjoy the forums as they are meant to be. Any beefs with forum members can be handled in PM's. Please take this kindly worded warning to heart - thanks!
