Petty at +45 and missing the cut every time in Plat How awesome would it be if the average golfer was allowed to tee it up and be on the scoreboard on the pga tour every week? As a marker to show how freakish those guys really are. Same concept here lol. The courses up there are monsters. I should know because I got a course scheduled up there and a hefty part of the design process for it was considering how best to say f*** you to the player

My vision of "playable for all" must be different than a CC Designer. It might be too late to adjust/ scale back my "playable by all" mindset for this course. I generally play both tours every week- last week, the Elite course (Port Melbourne) was tougher than the Plat (Ryland Heath).. but that is definitely an exception to the norm.

Fun but tough course this week. I've played Asylum a couple of times in other societies, so I knew what was coming.
Had my usual MO in R1 & R2 with too many very close putts to keep track. Unusually though, I had a hard time hitting fairways. Can't remember what I did in R3 & R4, but 65% FIR through two rounds is well below my norm. That being said, the 94% GIR through two is better.
Shot 65-64 to sit at -13 and looking like that will make the cut by a couple.
My 65 in R3 probably will leave me around the same spot, but my 61 in R4 should move me up a few spots. I'm guessing I finish 20-30th and just a little too low to add a promo mark this week.
Good luck everyone!

-13 at the cut... so many lipouts... 7-10' putts that break 3 ways is my kryptonite. I had some very "interesting" putts that weren't very realistic.
ETA- 1st time playing this course- loved the course layout and aesthetics- very similar to my WCOD course (I know where the bar is set).

Great course. Love how differently it plays depending on the wind direction. One of my favorites in 2K21

Everybody designs for CC... what fun is that when you can say fu to the players on Plat!

Great course. Love how differently it plays depending on the wind direction. One of my favorites in 2K21 there's a direct correlation to "love" and "course" when you throw down a -15 in R2!

Loved the course this week, every fairway was a decision! Ready for faster greens the next two rounds and opposite winds. Might get interesting
