coruler2 and VctryLnSprts welcome you to Zen Garden Mini Golf 2K23.
This course was originally built in 2K21, and updated for 2K23 physics. Please play the 'Zen Garden Mini Golf 2K23' version as the original version had a major publish issue
Backstory:
This was a collaborative effort from two of the renowned mini golf architects of the modern era. After spotting a beautiful plot a land behind an abandoned K-Mart in Jacksonville, Florida, these two Doctors of Geometry set forth to transform this concrete jungle into the most peaceful place to play mini golf on Earth. After 3 years of constantly painting over graffiti and ducking gun shots, they said ‘Screw you, Florida!’ and flew across the world to Japan to start over in a more attractive location.
The first step was to learn the culture and language. Coruler2 learned Karate, and quickly became a white belt after playing for his first lessons. He learned to respect his opponent through a series of bows and head nods. Unfortunately, he threw his back out after one of the more serious lessons in bowing and had to spend the next 5 months recovering in a co-ed bathhouse getting massages. His counterpart, Vctrylnsprts, took up yoga and became famous for his new pose, downward goat. It became so successful, that Vctrylnsprts branded downward goat, and released a line of colognes and chef academies of the same name.
They eventually met up again to complete their masterpiece mini golf design. They purchased a plot of serene land complete with lakes, hills, and fertile soil. They hired a dozen gardeners to create the hedges and ambiance. They bought plume from the finest white cranes to tailor their ramps and obstacles. And they build the most creative and fun mini golf course they could imagine. The Emperor of Japan got to be the first to play the course, as Japanese custom when releasing new mini golf courses in Japan. He was so blown away with its beauty and playability, he declared today, 26-February, International Zen Garden Mini Golf Release Day!
We hope everyone enjoys the course as much as we enjoyed building it! Feedback is always welcome!
Tips and Rules for Mini Golf:
1. All shots need to be played with the putter.
2. The designer was not built with mini golf in mind, so sometimes like things like a ball getting stuck or moved away from an obstacle will occur. Just roll with the punches.
3. Changing camera views may be necessary in some locations to see your ball. For controller users, push down on the left stick to cycle camera angles.
4. There are two pins on the course. Pin1 was designed to be more straight forward, Pin2 was designed to be strategic and skillful. Both pins were designed to maximize the fun!
5. Most pin locations can be aced. It may be very very hard and require a perfect line, aim, and luck, but it is possible. Some holes may take out-of-the-box routes for best chance at an ace.
6. You will not master the course on your first try, or your second, or your tenth. But learn grasshopper, and soon you will be shooting -10 or better to each pin.
7. Some shots may require max power, which means moving the aiming marker back to max distance, and performing a full swing.
8. Last but not least. RELAX AND HAVE FUN. Experience Zen, at Zen Garden Mini Golf
