Hi all, I'll start this week's thread. After missing the cut last week with playing cautious golf, I threw caution to the wind this week! 3 bogeys and a double bogey were the inevitable result... However, I also made lot of birdies and eagles... -7 & -13 for -20 halfway Surely, this time, I've done enough to make the cut? Best wishes and have fun, Frans

Awkward way to make it up with the bugged promos, but after finishing 4th in Elite, hi y'all! Made it up here in 3 months, 4 months since I started playing this game.
Time to suffer in Platinum and scramble to make cuts!

Hard for me to tell how tough this played. -19 at the cut with my usual choking attempt on back 9. Hopefully it’s enough because I played well after round 2.

My initial assumption was that this was our “normal” annual Pebble Beach course (friendbomber I believe). After a quick play through, unless I’m going crazy, this is completely different, right?

-24 Tempo roulette Interest level decreasing rapidly I sincerely hope it comes back quickly. Your scores are not too bad, after all, and with a little bit of patience, I'm sure you will get out of your slump soon.

This is the US Open version. -20 at the cut, and a pissed off back 9 R2 after being -7 thru 8 with a 6’ birdie putt above the hole on 9 that became a 3 putt. These greens bite when on the wrong side of the hole. -13 R3 then an atrocious -4 R4. Putting lines started to get a strong pull for some reason, absolute shocker.

-11/-8 start. Comfortable cut made for once. I am sitting at t3 out of 106 players ATM in putting average which is normally my big weakness. Shorter course with small greens that I am familiar with over time (over many golf games) is what helps. That and 3 chip ins in R1.

Hello. It looks like the recent promotions have tightened the competition up here, so it will be harder to make the cut in the weeks to come. I will probably miss it this week due to a slightly underwhelming first round. Often times, people write that they felt they played better than their scores might suggest. My first round has been the exact opposite. I had a few holes where I was more than happy to save par with a nice second shot (I've been down the cliffs twice). Moreover, an eagle on the 18th is always good for score cosmetics. Fortunately, the remaining three rounds turned out to be less stressful, as I was able to improve my tempo off the tee in the lower winds. Finally, please keep your fingers crossed for me next week at Riviera. I've never managed to score well on that course, so my goal will be simply to avoid demo marks. Cheers and good luck all!

Haven’t posted much, been really busy. Things are slowing down to normal so now can I can put in so more effort. I can’t complain, tempo was good for me this tourney but I keep missing 1-2 putts per round that should go in. Anyhow, finished -41 and I believe it’s the first time I broke into the -40s this season so that is a positive.
