OK - I have 100+ 1 vs.1 Match Play and am over .500 but now I was told you can have 3 putt previews in match play? I don't even know how to do that? Is this true? If it is I'm done with match play and IF SO - why am I over .500 LOL
How do you putt previews so I can check this out

I don't play online, but if I remember correctly, putt previews are on by default in ranked online multiplayer. I think difficulty level is locked at Pro as well.
To use putt preview, hold down the X button (PS4) or A (Xbox One) to show your projected line before you putt.

The worst part is that the distance control meter is locked to ON as well. I can't play with that garbage any more, completely ruins my tempo! Why can't it be set to open?

It still kind of sucks that they are there, but its not the end of the world. Bad players are still going to be bad. ...and why are you over .500 you ask? Here is how wins and losses are awarded... If you play a 4-player free-for-all and you finish in second place, you get 2 wins and 1 loss, because you are basically doing a 1 v 1 versus three players at the same time. Basically, you don't need to win as much as you need to at least get second place.

You will no longer see the distance control meter on the screen and it will be just like you have it turned off in the difficulty settings. And don't worry about the swing plane display going away. It will appear and show your swing data right after you hit your shot.

Putt Preview for on line Match Play and Skins game is the single greatest equalizer of ability in this game. With Distance meter on and putt preview- most decent players are making about 90% of their putts inside 30'- makes the game a complete and utter waste of time.

It will make wining so much easier. I quit bowling when I had a 200 average because NOT getting a strike made me angry. Same here. It ruins the game

I practice these on master with no in-game limiter and my short game is entirely built around how I limit chips and splashes specifically. I always loft it a little, hit it a little harder than the percentage suggests, and play for a slightly-slow. Every time I do this in matchmaking the meter slows down around the percent that they suggest so I just end up leaving everything way short. i am too lazy to go adjust it on every shot because I play pretty quick. I assume there is no way to stop the pre-selected distance control?

I don't really mind it in the few online matches I have played. It makes you have to pick and choose when to use your 3. And when you use putt preview you have to line up first and then use the preview. If the line ends up missing the hole you would have to use another putt preview to see if your line hits the hole.

That actually doesn't work (re-look) - you only get one putt preview per hole.

Well - I have yet to see how putt preview works and I'm still winning over 50% so . . . I don't care LOL
