@sansdsaver01
Never played this course and went in blind after a frustrating promo event. Change of scenery seemed to do me some good.
-13, -8, -8 so far through 3 rounds.

So, first off, I'm totally in for next season. Second, I actually put some work in on tempo and figured a few things out. We'll see if it sticks, but I had pretty consistent tempo through the first two rounds. With all the low scores, -19 might be right around the cut line. Rd 1: -12, good tempo and solid putting, only had 4 pars (one bogey) Rd 2: -7, had it going, but a double and a bogey on the back hurt billybudd0623 SkyBlueBen Chuck, tag Ben for this week's tourney. Care to share these 'new' tempo things you figured out? I, for one, would be interested.

My tempo thing is really pretty simple. I don't try to mimic a real golf swing by pausing at the top and firing through the ball. I keep my eyes on the controller, not my golfer, and just do a simple 1-2 for the swing. Back and through in a simple rhythm. If I'm having trouble with swing plane, I adjust to the numbers on a clock. I usually go back too much toward 5 o'clock and through too much toward 1 o'clock. :Looking at the controller helps a ton.
Also, I've been getting much better at pitching so I don't lay back on short par-4s. I'll drive it as far as I can and as long as I have 60 or more yards to the hole, I'm good. 35-50 yards is still really tough. I can't get the tempo for flops. The flop shot is essentially useless in this version of the game.

Despite the easy track my scores are stinky.
Anyone have putting path tips? I’ve been trying to fix with my grip but have tons of pushes and pulls. For whatever reason my backswing on putts tends to go down to like 7 o clock and then sometimes up to 11, others to 1 maybe trying to compensate.

I spent a week getting my putting sorted after Playa Saona. Just testing, testing testing until I found a way to grip the stick in a way that would give me straight putts. I use two fingers, and grip the stick at 11 o'clock, and 5 o'clock, which seems to work for me.

Yes. I'm still in despite my golf game taking a nose dive like a blue angel show.

SkyBlueBen Ben, we get an easy course and I don't have time to play. Tax season deadline is killing me and I will not be able to play this week. Sorry. I was all set to take Daniel @damsamp down.
