Shuggie and Eddie S set the bar pretty high for our rd 1 match, so it required a -12 to tie. I certainly had a chance, but three bogeys put paid to that - my tempo went to $hite on the back nine, although a 46 yard splash eagle from the trap on #18 made me feel a little better. If I had just parred those three, it would have been a tie, oh well. . . . Congrats Dawgs!

PS 5 questionFor those who have it, or are trying to get one, what are you doing? If you have Twitter you want to follow @ps5stockupdates and @gyxdeals and turn on Notifications. They will tweet out when restocks hit stores. Once they do you need to stop immediately what you are doing to try and grab one. I got a tweet that Target stocked some this morning, but you couldn't do pick up and with a foot of now it was impossible to get there. They still were gone in a matter of a few minutes. They also said rumor has it Amazon may drop some digital versions soon. I would not but from a 3rd party because they are tragically marking up and some are scams. Between that and checking big box store websites occasionally its about all you can do unless you luckily stumble into one while you are out. I have been trying for a few week or so, its tough going. I like that typo, Mike "a foot of now" lol.

sandsaver01. Rd3 is in at -5. The pins seem a little tougher in this round. Didn't help that I failed to birdie all the par 5s. A 170yd eagle on, I think, 2 saved the day.

sandsaver01 Round 3: -9 GET IN! I SHOT A DAMN 63! WAAAAHOOOOOOHAAAAHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! New personal best! Should mayb have been a 61 if it wasn't for those two short ones I missed, but I had a few long bombs which normally doesn't drop so they cancel eachother out. -14 overall after three rounds! Being a Dirtbag, gets you going in the right direction! Good round. Thanks Contemplated doing round 4 straight away but I was still pumping with adrenaline from R3, so I thought better of it so I can playtest the pins and shorter tees first, lol.

sandsaver01 First 2 in the books. Hard to say how I feel about these scores because they easily could have been 3 or 4 better in each round. knickerbocker should play the mega millions for his prediction yesterday lol. Round 1: -11 Round 2: -6 Threw in a couple of eagles in round 2 so hopefully it helps our BB shuggiebhoy1982 . Surprised I am only 3 off the lead so far, shows how tough Day 2 is. Great shooting Eddie that’s one heck of a debut!

Their big old beasts and don't fit on a lot of camp sites because they can't get down the roads or tracks to the site

Okay, first two rounds in for team Fore. A mixed bag, but that's what those conditions were most likely going to throw anyway. Round 1: -6 (66). I started doing practice rounds again, although only one per round just to get some comparisons. Scored -5, so the fact I got one less stroke in the actual round was pretty good! Set my partner up quite well, so go get 'em Captain! Round 2: +2 (74). Sadly, this was just full of rubbish, with minimal birdies thrown in there. Didn't fare too much better in the practice round and its -1. Consistency is my key, although really wish I did better here. Those winds definitely hurt me. At least made the cut in my division to keep that ongoing streak, but would have liked two decent rounds instead of one. That might be it for my positive contributions for the team, I've got a mountain to climb in the next rounds since I'm facing some tough competition. If I could just repeat that first round two more times, I might have a chance to rock the boat a little bit. Moving on! sandsaver01 j3ngs_

Round 2 was certainly more of a challenge than the first round. Not even the wind particularly, but the firmer greens were almost impossible for me to hold - land close and roll 20' away! Anyway The Gang eked out a win on the last hole thanks to Mike M's birdie; took the sting out of our round 1 loss a bit.

Ok sandsaver01... R3: -8 R3: -6 I’d normally be happy with that but I know you’ve got some low scores in the locker so we will see how this plays out. I burned so many edges on R4 I don’t know if it was cold putter or double vision from the wine & beers... Good Luck
