Tyler LEFTY79 good match, can I kiss your sister too? Commish Greg honeybadger64 I don't know whether to toyi toyi for a while or get to JHB to fly for my next match. If it is a road game, where in blazes IS Hernia Bay? Sounds painful. It's where Old Fogey's go to retire. Kent, England.

The Hammers have nothing interesting to say compared with the rest of you......so I won't.
Is this first stage just 3 weeks, or 6 weeks (ie home and away games) btw?

The Super Sky Blues travelled to Amsterdam. Ahhh, Amsterdam. Thoughts of tulips....drugs....and sex workers!! And a team still dining on on past glories. The Nottingham Forest of Holland? Maybe not quite that bad. A number of the players wives were banging on the window of the departure lounge after realising their player husbands had emptied the joint account. But we digress. There's a football match to be won. Pitch inspected. Good track. Ripe for knocking the ball about the Sky Blue Way. Back to the hotel.... The rest is a haze, no one remembers anything after leaving the hotel for a quiet meal on the evening before the match. Players are stood waiting for what they've been told is kick off but they have no idea what that means. The players run around in circles while the Dutch masters ping the ball around the park. Not difficult to look good against this Sky Blues side. Wheels proper fall off towards the end of the match with an early bath for no less than 3 players and the team goes into meltdown. Drugs tests all round. Round 1 -4 Round 2 -1 Round 3 -4 Round 4 +1 Ajax need a draw from this game to hold on to second spot in this group. However, without Onana, with snow and frozen feet, they started dreadfully... 0-1 to Coventry after 20 minutes! (-8 (63)) Then Coventry for some reason let Ajax back in the game and even though their play was still very underwhelming, they managed to score the equaliser just before half-time... (-8 (63)) 45 minutes to go with a place in the COVID Champions League at stake.... π³π³π³

Dear oh dear...
With Stekelenburg clearly too old to take over from Onana, Ajaxβ coach Erik ten Hag decided to take out the goalkeeper at half-time and field another striker; Traore.
While Ajax created chance after chance in the first 20 minutes of the second half, having no goalkeeper kinda makes you vulnerable to counters... πππππ
Coventry scores (-8 (63)) and Ajax now need to score in the final 20 minutes to keep their hopes of advancing to the COVID Champions League alive!!!

You should be fine for an equaliser Frans. My shower of sh*t fell to pieces in the last 20 minutes with 3 trips into the water over about 6 holes.

Jose has been complaining of a packed fixture list and after a win earlier against the Baggies they was up again for another tough fixture but the tense training paid off at the start of this match with some early goals and it might be time to rest a few tired legs!
Round 1 -8 63

I have absolutely no idea what is going on with my game at the moment. I had a couple of practice rounds that would have run Rob very close so full of enthusiasm I set out and shoot 76. NAFC.

Well, Ajax scraped through... donβt ask how, but a lucky goal in the last 5 minutes got them the draw they needed. Bad luck, Coventry ( SkyBlueBen)! Ajax will have to play a lot better to not make a fool of themselves in the COVID Champions League. Need to find a solution for playing without Onana and Haller.

The high seas were good to our boys from Soweto and they set foot in Kent ready to take on the Herons (yes I know they are The Bay but they have the bird on their logo, so I am going there). Their play was solid, nearly error free, but they brought their sea legs not their land legs and the attack was sparse. First half is over for them: Round 1: -6 Round 2 : -7 I do believe Simba chips and Fanta await in the lockerroom. GL Paul sid snott, I think you can do well here. Onward!

1st round -1
Playing a vital match at home can be a double edged sword, play well and the crowd give you that extra yard but play badly and even a small error is met with an angry backlash. Celtic didn't do much to give the crowd something to sing about but good play by Griffiths and Julien at either end kept the fans on the edge of their seats. There was a lull in the game after a period of end to end play. A couple of chances for both teams in the space of 2 minutes reminded the home team the Brewers weren't just here to make up the numbers.
With a lot at stake can one of the best atmospheres in European football galvanize the team to victory?
