Ownership might find its way down to the locker room at the half to have a frank discussion with the head man, Grossi, about his practice routine with regards to conditioning and fitness, as the boys in blue just seem to stumble in the second 22 of every half thus far this season.

Starting the first half quite well but shooting themselves in the foot to concede the early goal really knocked the stuffing out of this City team. As the first half went on they got crappier, I mean scrappier. Final ball was poor and the shooting was woeful. They did get it together towards the end but then luck deserted them. 2 cleared off the line and hit the the woodwork twice. Yes, FOUR lip outs on the back 9, I was just laughing by the end! 2-0 down at half time with a mountain to climb.
Over two rounds I hit around 85% FIR and 70% GIR, 61 putts! One of the problems for this team is I'm trying to finish off this course I've been working on for the last two years and I'm just literally playing these 4 rounds every week plus a bit of Friday alt shot. I think it's pretty clear my putting is the biggest victim of the lack of playing time. Second round 73 and another missed cut.

Hello. Since the general manager doesn't know how to organize meaningful training sessions, F91 players decided to watch a few YouTube tutorials together. Basic ball movement, passing and shooting. No fancy stuff. This seems to have helped, as the team barely lost the ball throughout the whole match. Dudelange didn't even let a penalty early in the second half distract them, and so the small Luxembourgish club is happy to celebrate their first victory. Cheers and good luck all!

I don't think if we played better ball against that we'd have a chance Jamie. Kudos to avjpfc for nicking a goal off Kevin there.

Top class play there, i think the manager of the Luxembourg national team will be looking over his shoulder. 👏🏻👏🏻

Round 1 -5 Hoping to bounce back after my opening season defeat ,team started positively and got the early goal, the Red Devil’s will be hoping they don’t let the lead slip 2 weeks on the trot to their Scottish opponents.

Round 3 +4
Celtic started the 2nd half at 6's and 7's or in this case 4's and 5's. Thankfully the 3 foreigners rule has been abolished as the amount of Brazilians that made appearances here would've resulted in the match being forfeited. If they don't concede during this period it would be down to the heroics of goalkeeper Barkas.

Problems with injuries in the Spurs camp saw a late start to this game and by the looks of things half the team not recovered and a very poor performance in round 1 and hundreds of balls flew out the stadium especially on the 8th and Bale took a free kick from 200yds only for it to hit a lamppost and end up 204 yds from the goal 😄 The line up looked strong and the opponents were slightly afraid but now they understand there is no threat with this tired old team! Round 1 +2

Distressing messages coming from the Ajax management at half-time; apparently, Sébastien Haller is not on the list of players for the European games coming up the next few months... they’re looking into it together with UEFA but if it turns out to be a mistake by Ajax, that’s an unforgivable ****-up. And also, possible replacement Brobbey, only 19, is refusing to sign a new contract, which makes him unlikely to be in Erik ten Hag’s plans. With all this happening at half-time, Ajax’ display in the second half was better than one might expect. Whether they’ve done enough, remains to be seen because Haller missed an awful lot of easy chances... then again, can you blame him after learning that he might have to watch the European games from the stands?

Well a big thanks go out to the Spurs physio and the magic sponge treatment as the team came out looking much fitter and ready for action (especially knowing a -8 round would be needed to make the cut in CCE) and there were a barrage of goals just before the half time whistle blew and there will be a fight for the ball as Bale and Moura claimed a hatrick each!
Round 2 -7 -
Sadly looking like 1 shot off the cut and my first missed cut on the tours. Needed an eagle on the 18th and a 45yd pitch for the eagle and it spun back to within inches but sadly just not to be this time but what an entertaining game we now have on our hands and now back to Jeff in the studio!

Tranmere Rovers vs Ajax Amsterdam - 1st half
Round 1 - 71 Round 2 - 74
Tranmere nearly missed tonight's game due to Brexit and export issues regarding a certain players cheese sandwich, as he refused to hand it over to authorities at the border ... thankfully, he was persuaded to try some freshly made Edam from the duty free section and was allowed to continue on his journey with a Edam instead of Red Leicester.
This is Tranmere's first competitive game against any side from The Netherlands, usually people from Birkenhead visit Amsterdam for other reasons.
The coach broke down as it was on its way to the arena, unfortunately for the manager, the bus broke down near a local cafe and a mysterious shop next door with what the chairman thought was the local Ann Summers shop, as there were scantily clad females in the window. While the coach was getting fixed, the strikers went out to this shop as it was one of their missus birthday next week, so thought they would get her a nice present.
Finally the coach was fixed and as the manager was doing a head count he noticed that his strikers looked all puffed out and hot and sweaty ... they said that they wanted to get warmed up, so they went and did some exercises with the local female running club, who just happened to be in the same shop as them.
Anyways onto the match and as expected the star studded Amsterdamian team got off to an absolute flyer and were on the ascendency right from the whistle and fully deserved their 1--0 lead after 20 minutes, Tranmere's strikers looked @!$#ed, both figuratively and physically on the pitch and needed a frim grip to release their stiffness up front during the water break.
A tighter end to the half, with Rovers strikers finally coming out of their coma and were penetrating the Ajax goal and somehow pulled a goal back due to some poor defending. This game should be dead and buried at half time ... but Rovers have a chance to sneak a point, will Rovers strikers fall flat and go limp in the 2nd half or will they stand up firmly and be counted for.
Half time
Ajax 1 - 1 Rovers

If I could combine my first round approach play with my third round putting I might get somewhere!
2-0 down at the half and knowing I'm realistically just playing for pride, I actually enjoyed it! A couple of good chances put wide but a couple of 20 yarders arrowing in to the top bin too. An altogether better performance in front of goal but the build up play to get there was reminiscent of the real Bristol City right now! 67, 0-3.

The battle for the top of Group C saw the Brewers a bit flat-footed to begin our match against Orlando as the Burtonian side had plenty of possession but couldn’t turn it into anything meaningful. 1st Round: 64. (-8) The jet lag finally wore off around the half hour mark as BAFC started to execute the plan of scoring more goals than the opposition. Crisp passes and more shots on net led to an equalizer. 2nd Round: 60. (-12) The American manager was relieved to still have a fighting chance to grind out a result against the swashbuckling Pirates in the second half.
