There's a lot of good ideas on this course! My one pinch of advice would be to maybe put some OB on the cliffs on 1,2,3, I ended up down the cliffs on one and had to take an unplayable lie. One of the things I learned from Asylum is that a large part of the community does not know that option exists at all and it is already essentially an impossible shot

Beautiful looking course, nice to see this one finished! I'll have a little look at this one when I get time.

Thanks for the playthrough. Ya I definitely contemplated putting some OB there but found it a little tough because later holes were down below and didn't want players accidentally going OB on those holes. For next time perhaps I'll playtest a million times on those holes just to see where OB balls usually end up and just place some OB sparingly lol. Thanks again for the feedback, this is only my second publish so looking to keep improving!

Pretty fun track. Was getting a lot of northern Oregon vibes from this course. Hole 7 reminded me a lot of #8 at Pebble. I was downwind on that hole and hit a PW 200 yards to the back of the green. 🤣 Your bunkers were very nicely sculpted and the planting in general was good as well.
I guess if I had to nitpick anything, and this isn't even really your fault, more of how the game makes it look, but some of the elevation changed and cliffsides look a little stretched. Admittedly I haven't tried to do any huge cliffs or mountainous areas, so I'm not sure if there's a way to make it look less harsh, but that's just something minor that caught my eye. Didn't really detract from my round at all though.
Very good job, especially for a second course. 👍🏻

Ya definitely drew a bit of inspiration from that type of environment, glad you enjoyed it. And yes, I agree. The cliffside stretching is quite annoying. I tried covering some up using rocks and planting, but there was just so much to work with that it was hard to get everywhere without going over plant meter lol. My next course won't be using quite as much dramatic scenery.... it makes for some beautiful views, but some tough sculpting and planting. Thanks again for the feedback!

Nice course! Enjoyed it a lot. Keep up the good work, looking forward to what you come up with for your third course.

Working away on my third one, so hopefully I'll have that out in the next month or two. By the way, absolutely loved Ballyhoo... gorgeous environment and plays so well. 4th hole is sneaky good, one of my favs.

Play through. Really solid effort! I think it was a par 3 on the back where I hit it down the cliff to show what happens if you try to play from down there. Q's advice above is solid in this regard.

Thanks for the play through and all the feedback man! Really appreciate it... it's always fun to see someone else play your course. Definitely agree with you and Q about the OB. Definitely something I'll be looking at moving forward. Probably won't need it for my next few courses as I'll be staying away from using so many cliffs (just had to get it out of my system on my second course lol). Glad you enjoyed the round and thanks again!
