a Local "Home Town" kid that practices at our Driving Range for hours everyday, Has competed against Jordan Spieth when both were in High School ... (Guess you now will know where I live) 22 years old and a Senior from the same university my daughter is graduating from (both are graduating next month - Byron is going to join the Web.Com Tour) The kid is good. Before he left the range this Tuesday leaving to head off to Augusta ... I asked him how he felt about his chances, he said "I am going to win it" ... He is not cocky, but he has got the right stuff. He almost made another one of my predictions true yesterday ... tgctours.proboards.com/post/24960This young man is a breathe of fresh air --- a true "Cinderella Story" in the house that "Jack" built ... But he did Tie for 1st ... and had to come back from 2 strokes down, and make some incredible putts on the final few holes to do it ... I see a "major" in his future as well .... |

Gotta love those yardages...2-iron 105 yards, then a 5-iron 155 yards, finish with holing out an 8-iron from 195 yards!
Just how I would play the 18th at Augusta too! =)

I think the PGA is as healthy as I've seen in a long time. So many young guys that can win, and some 30 somethings that have found the fountain of youth. It's just a pleasure to watch week in and week out..

Finally back, and I would say with no chance to win, but Im just so glad he is playing, because it has been a draught without him. I have not watched PGA for several months, years almost, since Tiger got "injured" or whatever went wrong.
