Ruined my bag to play this with tink tinks as the 295 driver looked like it'd ruin the course, but really liked the atmosphere. Clearly put in a lot of work here buddy. Thanks for the play Ben! Yes, these real courses often get dominated by the 300-yard video game driver, no argument there. I’ll be building a fictional set of tees for a tourney version before I submit it to TGCTours for this very reason.

I've officially decided to stop designing! No seriously though, looks outstanding man as per usual but if the pics are an indication you may have out done yourself Eric! I'll be jumping on this this evening! Really looking forward to it! Once again your time & effort is much appreciated in putting top notch courses out for us all to enjoy!

Great course with a natural feel. What grass texture numbers did you use for FW, rough, deep rough and greens? I can’t can’t find anything like them on the PS4 designer? Thank you very much, appreciate it! Here are all of the settings, hope it helps: Theme: Boreal Fairway: 19 Light Rough: 19 Heavy Rough: 19 Greens: 19 Bunkers: 9 Time of Day: 8:45 Inclination: 37 degrees Clouds: 0.9 Height: 1.0 Scale: 0.09 Definition: 0.2 Period: 0.2 Haze: 0.4 Fog Ceiling: 0.2 Fog Density: 0.6

Usually not a fan of Lidar courses because often times the designers focus only on the course and not the surrroundings. This one was the complete package however. Some stunning views and it felt like every blade of grass was placed exactly where it should be. Well done, really enjoyed my round. Makes me want to play the course IRL.

Loved it buddy!!! Unreal looking course. Can’t say I’m familiar with Pinewood in real life so sadly I can’t understand how amazing the recreation was but I bet you did fantastic. Not usual a huge fan of LiDAR courses but this is easily my favourite one I’ve ever played. The look made it feel like it’s a course you can play 100 times and not get sick of it. Maybe a “hometown course” feel a little. Wondering how everyone is likening the OB?😉 Great job!!! Interested as to why you're not a fan of LiDAR courses? I thought they are a very accurate representation of the land. Do you see that these version of courses are they often let down by poor planting and perhaps not ads much care taken because much of the work is done via auto gen? Or is it a playability thing? I hear that LiDAR versions are generally more processor intensive. Is this correct? Cheers I love the idea of LiDAR don’t get me wrong.. I just have never really found a course I’ve truly loved. This course definitely is one of those though. Maybe I’ve turned a new leaf thanks to Mr. Lane here. I don’t really have a specific reason to be honest with you, it was just more of a I would rather play a full fantasy course someone had to design everything and think of all the hole designs themselves! Loved this one though

This course is pure class! Lidar or not, great tracks speak for themselves and this is a beautiful course. I absolutely loved everything from start to finish! After reading Ben’s post, I switched out my driver to a 273 driver and it made for a very realistic round. I’d recommend not using the long drivers to anyone that’s going to play this course as it really brings the strategy out not being able to just bomb it over all of the hazards. Excellent job, 5 ⭐️, and a favorite! Thanks for taking the time to make this!👊🏻

Oh, I'm honestly right there with ya! One of the best things about video game golf design is that we can create in a sandbox where building costs, land development, weather patterns, and even maintenance realities (sorry Jerry) do not matter, and I LOVE what all of us can do with fictional designs for that reason. Can you imagine the superintendent's budget on a SindreRev course? LOL! And that's the beauty of it, we don't have to care! As for RCRs and LiDAR, one of the biggest challenges is that they don't often translate well in the game because of club distances (my other two LiDAR courses are equally high in quality but play really short... go shoot 58 on Mayapple Golf). Obviously the other reason is that, in my opinion, there aren't many designers that take the time to do LiDAR designs correctly because they pull the course in, do a little planting, and then publish it. I spend nearly 100+ hours on my LiDAR designs, which includes redoing all of the spline work from OSM, planting it as specifically as possible, and also recreating the surrounding environment down to the last details where possible. There are people out there that gave LiDAR a bad name unfortunately, so hopefully designs like Pinewood CC can bring it back. Thanks for playing and for the feedback Sluggie!

Here's some good news... Pinewood CC (Tourney) is coming later TODAY! You can keep your regular clubs in the bag for that one.

Finally got around to playing! This is such a well done liDar and you were right to choose this course for one! Texture choices were perfect and the greens ate me alive! Pretty much all my problems with liDar courses weren't present in this one. Just class all the way through

I didn't switch out any clubs when I played but mainly used my 3 wood off the tee rather than driver. It is so cool to play these really well done lidars. The time put into this environment shows and looks like the real deal! One thing you can expect with VctryLnSprts projects is that fantastic attention to detail great job man

Using only a 3 wood off the tee is what I do on the regular one as well, as it seems to translate pretty well in the game to what I would actually do IRL.

Beautiful track, every detail meticulously place with care...
Course IRL only about two hours from me, wonder if they will accept rednecks with crocs and a wife beater on the course? Then I can Visit the NC ZOO after in the same town
Great work bud...loved it

This is the most realistic golf course I've ever played in this game. I've never played or heard about it in real life but it felt like I was there. Crazy good.
