Welcome to Pinewood CC (LiDAR), now published and accepting tee times! Pinewood Country Club in Ashboro, NC has been named the #1 hidden gem among all courses in the Piedmont Triad area, and boasts a phenomenal resume of hosted events, such as the 2007 Wyndham Championship qualifying for the PGA Tour, the 2011 US Amateur Qualifying, a 2011 NGA Hooters Tour tournament, and 2013 NC Women's Amateur Championship, as well as many other events. I was asked by a fellow player at TGCTours, who is a member at PCC, if I would consider building this course using LiDAR for PGATOUR2K21, and although I rarely take on these requests, I was intrigued by this design and agreed to take on the project. I want to give special thanks to the Head PGA Professional at Pinewood Country Club for his support of the project, and to Dylan Hoffman of TGCTours, a member at the club, for supplying endless real-world photos and assistance during the build to make this as accurate as possible in the video game.

Your lighting is so good. Ahh, the many benefits of my DAM family. I get to run things by them first, and the lighting on this was perfected by mattf27. š

Loved it buddy!!! Unreal looking course. Canāt say Iām familiar with Pinewood in real life so sadly I canāt understand how amazing the recreation was but I bet you did fantastic. Not usual a huge fan of LiDAR courses but this is easily my favourite one Iāve ever played. The look made it feel like itās a course you can play 100 times and not get sick of it. Maybe a āhometown courseā feel a little.
Wondering how everyone is likening the OB?š
Great job!!!

I thought they are a very accurate representation of the land. Do you see that these version of courses are they often let down by poor planting and perhaps not ads much care taken because much of the work is done via auto gen? Or is it a playability thing? I hear that LiDAR versions are generally more processor intensive. Is this correct? Cheers

Ruined my bag to play this with tink tinks as the 295 driver looked like it'd ruin the course, but really liked the atmosphere. Clearly put in a lot of work here buddy .

Great course with a natural feel.
What grass texture numbers did you use for FW, rough, deep rough and greens? I canāt canāt find anything like them on the PS4 designer?
