Really good recreation of this course. I’ve played it a few times in real life and this certainly did it justice. Not sure why those areas were OOB on hole 8 in the middle of the fairway as they certainly are not in real life 🤷♂️
Wrong thread Ryan (need to move your post to TST)

Oops... Yep I picked up two heavy rough patches in the centre of the fairway, just for good measure.

Pretty nervous start with a -2 first round after being -3 thru 4 🙄 managed to come back and shoot -8 second to be -10 at the cut, wouldn’t be good enough most weeks but wether that’s good enough with this course I don’t know. Highlight was playing the single par 5 in +2 for both rounds 😂😂

Pretty stoked that that'll be the last event I play for 3-4 weeks. Need a holiday after that.
I could complain more but will leave it at it being an unrewarding golf course, and the 15th is silly.
Anyway, -29 finish but was only -12 at the cut which might be a little touch and go.

Always see these posts of worst course ever and then go in expecting to have to rip petty in a private message. Then I play it and I just think we have some members that dislike most things in life. Thought the course was good - looked pleasing and required some good shots to score well. I didn't putt well and didn't give myself enough chances - missing the cut by a few shots - but I can still walk away and say that was a good course and had I played better I could have made a cut.
Carry on...

Good course, and nice to have a different type of challenge- a chipping challenge. Unfortunately my chipping was rubbish on the day, but putting saved my ass for a change and looks like I made the cut

I’d been having a good time the past month or so with the course selections and setups and that definitely ended this week. The course layout itself is quite good but the green sculptures are mind boggling. I’m not sure how many greens were sloped from front to back, but it was obviously way too many. Raised greens with red slope going away from you at the front of the green is just hard to make sense of. And to add to that, the size of the greens made it to where there was typically no smart play to leave yourself a decent putt and stay away from the madness near the pin.

-9 and -7 to start out. Had a dumb bogey when I got too aggressive on my chip on #8 in the first round.
Had a nice little run on the last 10 holes of the first round and then the first three holes of R2. Putter got pretty warm along with accuracy getting onto the greens. -11 over those 13 holes. Otherwise mostly pedestrian -5 over the other 23 holes.
Good luck to all with rounds yet to start or complete!

My god that was a struggle!
-36 in the end, should be good enough for a top five.
Still reeling from the final round where I played about as well as I can, but didn't take enough of my chances on the greens. Missed four or five in the 9-11 foot range, one of those was for eagle on the par five.
Good luck all left to play.

Almost in contention at the halfway point but then the third round put the boot in. Tempo completely changed plus every bad bounce came my way. Fourth round wasn't much better. Only -28 in the end, barely gets top twenty🙁. Liked the course in the first two rounds. Grew to hate it by the end.
