Semi finals are: Championship Team 8 vs Team 1 Team 2 vs SkyBlueBears Consolation Team 3 vs V&V Team 6 vs Team 9 Semi wills be play at Remanent 1824, a course that will punish a poor shot but give good value for a quality shot. In an effort to cope with the harsh conditions that life threw at them, Americans resorted to games as a means of relief. One of those games was golf. Although, modern country clubs did not exist in America until the late 1800’s, versions of the game were being played as early as 1650. Golf courses were few and far between and weren’t established in official capacity in the US until the early 20th century. Remanent (Adj: remaining, left behind) is one of those early courses. Situated in a valley that was once a giant lake but has mostly dried up over time due to land shifts and droughts. A small settlement was established adjacent to the course, it’s occupants yearning for any break in the dissonant, grinding reality of life in 1824.

-11/-3 for -14. Too many blow up holes. But best I've played since red fast nerf

Thanks for the work you do Justin. I seem to have managed to dragged two different partners down this season but will definitely be back for more next time around.

statelyowlJustin, can I change my mind about competing next season (I'm famous for changing my mind, just ask Greg honeybadger64 ) but on reflection I'm sure I can fit in the two rounds per week required even when I go back to work and it's good practice for the CC stuff. I can only apologise to my prospective partner for using these as warm up rounds!! He'll no doubt deserve better....

Well just to outdo The Artful Dodger I've managed to go one worse. Still a work in progress, short game killed me in hell and it was totally my fault getting edgy and pulling fasts....

I gave it my all Art, shot -6 and -7. Unfortunately, I made bogey on the final hole from a perfect position in the fairway. I was just forcing it too much and I choked, so instead of making birdie or eagle for us, I made bogey. FML

I did it from the middle of the fairway with a 3 wood in my hand and perfect yardage, and even had a 20' birdie putt. Yup, I'm dumb.

Thank goodness my scores won't count this week. Not like any of that matters anyway, I went above and beyond mediocrity. Only highlight was sinking a 38.8 footer for eagle in Heaven. That's about it. Oh yeah, and my tempo was consistent enough to find all the cool tough spots that screwed me over. I also still stick by the idea that 144s are more hellish than 187s.
Also, want to hear a joke? A guy scored an equal number of birdies in both rounds (3). Nothing dropped, sucks to suck.
E, +2 = take a guess.
EDIT: at least I made a par on the last hole. Seems like I found a way to do something right on a hole that was tougher than it looked?

Thank you Justin for organizing a great season. Mr Loveskud, the game and the new mechanics clearly have the better of me so this will be my final round at this level for now. Thanks for carrying me all year, it was nice to have such a reliable partner.
