Profuse apologies to TheCIABear Got in a rage in Round 1 and proceeded to play like a spoilt child. Unacceptable.

This course will do that to you Mr. bear. I wouldn't sweat it. Sometimes golf should just be hard ⛳

True, but I would say there are courses that fit your eye and others that don't. I know that for myself this week I was thrown off by all the OB and tight spots and let it affect my play for sure. In the end at least we didn't pay good money to play poorly, lol.

After struggling in my Elite rounds the last thing I needed was to be raped by a golf course in what I thought was going to be a relaxing round

Despite my computer's best efforts, managed -2,-11 for -13. Swear I didn't think it would get through the front on day 1.

I was +5 thru the front nine in round 1 and fought back to post E. Unfortunately I only shot -4 in round 2. Ugh

The first round was a tale of many tiers before bedtime leading to several three-stabs and even a four-whack. I ended up at +5 including the almost inevitable trips to the water close to the end. I at least managed a modicum of redemption on the second try with a blemish-free -8 to take me back under par for the week. For the second week running I have managed to not detract from my partner's efforts and I am going to count that as progress.

+4 Hell, -11 Heaven. -7 total.
Hell was super tough this week, and I made it harder on myself by being an idiot. Why will I never learn that sometimes you don't want to risk it? 18th was the perfect example: thought I was taking a good angle off the tee, ended up not being in a very good spot. From heavy rough bouncing off a rock to safety when I already thought I was heading to water. Then from the fairway to just off the green, barely missed chip, par save. Hardest par I'll ever make.
Heaven was not super good to start off with, but finished with a -8 in the last 9 with a stretch of golf I haven't seen in a while. Felt like almost everything went my way. Yeah, I'll take that final score every day when I'm not scoring better, thank you very much.

Why will I never learn that sometimes you don't want to risk it? I can confirm that this doesn't get better with increasing experience.

I definitely represent the side of lesser experience, so I'm now looking forward to many more situations like that in the future.

+3, +12 for a +15. To say I didn't care for this course would be an understatement

Week 7 Results to date.... I may have over cooked the challenge? Still a day and a half for TheCIABear and kilbride10 to brave a run at it.
