I still bum around on my 360 when I’m bored. One of the best 360 games ever was NCAA (College) Football 14. Best American Football video game ever hands down.
The craziest glitch just happened to me. I’m playing the “My Player” mode where you control one guy and play out his career.
We are in the national championship and it goes to OT. We score, they score, they score, we score....
It gets to the point where you have to start going for 2 after you get a TD. We start on offense. We score and get the 2 point conversion to go up by 8. We then start on offense again. I scramble for 8 yards on the first play....
All of the sudden, after that play is over, the game goes final and we start celebrating but the stadium starts shooting confetti of the other school’s colors.... get back to the main screen and it says Congratulations!
Our opponents scored a TD on every one of their OT possessions as did we... the game ended after I scrambled for 8 yards and the stadium blew the wrong confetti.... craziest glitch I’ve ever seen.

Lol, you must have maxed out the OT limits from EA. Just to note, EA has had an insane way that they program their football games.
NCAA is one of my all time favorites. I never played the single player career mode for it though. I came across another glitch in '14 where I had played Texas for the Chip, beat them, yet they still ended up #1. SMH.

I never played the single player career mode for it though. I came across another glitch in '14 where I had played Texas for the Chip, beat them, yet they still ended up #1. SMH. I am hoping they can bring it back soon. Now that players can start getting paid for their likenesses, I'm very hopefully they'll reboot this series because 14 was so good. Obviously the crazy glitches will remain seeing how Madden games are still messed up but at the same time it's kind of a fun staple of football video games, you never know what weird stuff is gonna happen. |

I just got back into NCAA 14 recently, and started a promotion/relegation Dynasty mode. All conferences in the game have 12 teams, save for the "Independents", which are the worst teams in the game. There is the Power 5 group of conferences, as well as the remaining Group of 5. The promotions occur from the Group of 5 into the Power 5, and relegations go the opposite way. The best Independent team moves up, swapping places with the worst team in the conference that geographically makes sense for the Independent team to join. This is an example of what it looks like:  I had to do some realignment geographically to make the conferences all line up (for example, Notre Dame to the Big Ten). |

Yea I think we'll see it again soon. Madden will never meet it's game play expectations, it's making some hard leans towards arcade play. MUT also contributed to that arcade crap and has ruined that game. Those of us who enjoy the sim style of running a franchise have been forgotten. But I don't expect that with NCAA because it's a different animal where ultimate team really doesn't play into it that much (i hope) - unless they try to fit in "vintage players" like Vince Young at Texas, Joe Montana at Notre Dame, Barry Sanders at Ok St, etc. or have them in recruiting, or both. If they do I hope i can toggle that off and go as IRL as possible. Also hope they allow export classes to Madden. Those were the best franchise years for Madden that I enjoyed. Especially seeing a kid I recruited, played 3 or 4 years with in college (LSU or Nevada) and then make it to the NFL to become a star on another team that isn't mine. |

Man, I wish they'd figure out a way to get a new NCAA football game going. I loved the @#$! out of it.

Man, I wish they'd figure out a way to get a new NCAA football game going. I loved the @#$! out of it. Such a good game. I stupidly bought the newest Madden and played it for maybe a few days and haven’t touched it since but I still go back to NCAA 14 time and time again |
