That was a complete mess and I'll be shocked if the system doesn't arbitrarily decide to demote me instead out of sheer disgust.
Chipping was alright I guess.
That's about it.

+13 after two rounds. I don’t know how you guys go under par so easily. I can hang on for a bit but I just can’t get a consistent swing over 18 holes.

Has anybody had any putts that have hit the flag stick and bounced out? I really putt the same since I found my rhythm and a few short putts that I like to bang in have hit the stick and come out. I even had a few 10 footers that I normally putt with the same speed and have hit the stick and have bounced out. And it wasn’t with just this course. I played my practice rounds at Royal St. Michaels and it had happened there as well. It is no biggie as I will remove the stick unless a real long putt but maybe they made the hole slightly smaller? Up this weekend I had never bounced off the stick with my putts. I have also noticed a few more burning the edge. But the anyway the course is fabulous with some nice pins tucked in the corners. Great design by CrazyCanuck! And good luck to all! I've had the same problem lately too with bouncing off the flag. My guess is its something they did with the new update a few days ago

Saved my good swings for the CC event and not this apparently! I hear you. Same here. Did a couple practice rounds 64,60 I think. What did I do when it mattered? 68,72,66 (I think) and 68 I think. Wish you could have the ability to change the lighting. As someone who is a little older than most on here I find the dawn setting very hard on the eyes and really struggled with seeing. Especially on the putts. Beautiful course too bad I left a lot of birdies out there. It's not just you, I don't have any eyesight problem but the dawn setting is a real challenge on the greens as it's difficult to read the putts.

Coming in hot from CC-G. Went 61-65-62-67 for a total of -33, which included a hole-in-one in round 2. Really fun course to play and well balanced playability, I thought. Scores are out there to be had, but it can bite you if you're off a bit.
Hoping that -33 was enough to get into a pro tour. If it's not, the back nine of round 2 (made 9 straight pars after a 29 on the front) and all of round 4 will be the reason. Just couldn't get much going in round 4.

Plan on playing my rounds tonight or tomorrow night and seeing where I end up. I have played Persephone a couple of times and it's a nice track; I will probably get at least a 9 hole practice round in before my 1st round tee time. Good luck to all.

I don't even know why I bother sometimes. I was -9 midway through my second round. Had a tailwind on a par 3 198 yards or so, use a club that shoots about 170, hits the green goes in the water. Relief is on other side of the water, pitch shot 92% (pitch is always hit and miss), back in the water. I stopped playing.
Sometimes I feel the game purposely wants the ball to go into hazards, I've hit so many bunkers it's ridiculous.

I finished off the third round last night and ended up with -9, had the swing going well and the putter too. Because of that I decided to play the last round but unfortunately could only manage a -3. I started to lose the swing a little bit through the middle and the putting was frustrating. So many burnt the edges that could have dropped and saved shots. Total was -23 I think.

If you play on PC I'd love to give you some tips though a round or 2. This game can really be a struggle and quite frustrating, but it can also be very enjoyable if you use the tools correctly

Two terrible rounds from me then packed it in. I blame the course designer.

Fair question :-) I did my qualifying at Acadia last month before I understood putting on master difficulty (mostly distance control) and ended up +15 and in CC-J. Then I figured it out, got some more forgiving clubs to help with tempo and shot -21 the next week. From there, I've just been improving bit by bit, learning more of the subtle aspects of the game, saving a shot here and there.

All done at -37. Could have been slightly better but could have been a whole lot worse my putting saved me countless times when facing a medium range par. That was my most pleasing part of the Event.
Good luck all

Good luck all ⛳️👨🏻🍳 You cooked up some good numbers there Chef! I'm sitting on -27 with R4 to go. Hoping to keep that pace up and finish mid 30s. We'll see.
