Totally depends on wind here. High wind rounds will be lucky to break par. Low wind rounds will be - 2 to - 6 per.

I'd guess somewhere around -20 for the winner.

We picked this course to do Alistar MacKenzie proud. I hope he would appreciate the test that ensues.

Let's not forget all the big hitters are living it up at the Masters, so anything below -10 is in with a decent shot at top 10 at least. That said, I have seen word of some of the PGA guys are thinking the same and are headed our way. TGC Tours is getting better every week...

Im pretty sure #15 took a few years off my life The pin on 15 is brutal. I will totally own up to screwing that one by not reworking the slope on the right. *raises hand to own up to still being pretty new with all this creator business at the time*

This course is absolutely awesome! Demands both good thinking and flawless execution! Not too much trouble off the tee - but the approach-puzzles are very well done. And it demands a top class short game. Players that only have the lofted flop will get eaten alive.
I have yet to shoot over par on it despite a number of doubles and triples. There are plenty of birdies to be had as well. Think my first round was a casual -6. Never got that deep in the tournament as the course started fighting back as soon as I got a couple birdies in.
Getting sloppy on 15 costs shots for sure.

No doubt this is a mighty test. But maybe not at the right time? This could easily been usOpen material, or the Open material?! And yes, I have played the original course, and I think that is more suited to this setup.

There was a much easier option on the other side of the pond Unfortunately for me, I am struggling on this tour as is, so Im not going to cross over as I need to grind out any cuts I can make on a tour where Im in a decent standing, compared to the PGA where I have no money and no Fedex points in order to try and sneak into the Race for Dubai.

See your point about the Open, and there are not many courses out there fit to host it. Legacy at cape point would be my suggestion - but does not really have the feel of a proper Open Championship course...
Hope they will do something similar to the U.S. Open for the Open Championship as well. A competition for best St Andrews clone maybe? It is, after all, the most important major...

I like this course just because it's smooth on PS4. A nice change from the countryside courses I've been playing lately

I agree that this course could have been used for a bigger event,I really like it. Plenty of birdies available, the par fives are a must but plenty of bogeys out there too, just like the real thing. I've managed a few practice rounds and despite really trying have been unable to keep it bogey free. Disappointed to miss out on the OTHER tournament!! But looking forward to this one.
