I've just returned after not playing for 8 weeks and assumed I'd have to requalify for the tour. However, I'm still appearing as CC-B on my profile, so am I still there? Almost certain that's the case Leon, there are always a decent number of non-players each week and it's only performances that move you up and down. Reminds me of the answer the Secretary of the local Working Men's Club gave to a question about why they had over 2000 members and there were rarely more than half a dozen people in the place. He said it took a lot more than death to stop your membership there. Great, thanks I just remembered it being said there would be more movement and more getting rid of non players with the new game. But I guess I haven't breached that limit yet 👍

Sorry to put this here, had a browse and couldn't see a better place! I've just returned after not playing for 8 weeks and assumed I'd have to requalify for the tour. However, I'm still appearing as CC-B on my profile, so am I still there? Yes, still in CC-B

Updated OP with course for Promo Event #3
Is it still looking slim for Platinum slots? Yes, I'll likely do at least 2 though. Last event had around 165 complete it so it's a bit stuffed up there.

I took some notes for the promo course that I'll share here if anyone wants a breakdown of this adventurous course.
INCA’S EDGE
71-7445
72.8 Architect: Jay Featherstone
Inca’s Edge is on a mountain high above sea level. From the first tee, we can see how high up we are looking down at the sea and land below. The course has a jungle/forest feel at times, plenty of trees, cliffs, and split fairways. In fact, to use a marriage metaphor: they say 51% of marriages end in divorce. Of the 15 fairways at Inca’s, there’s a higher % of unhappy marriages and divorces between the left and right sides. 10 fairways have either a centerline bunker or total split. There's a lot of distractions visually so we'll need our focus to thrive and our brains to figure out which choice is best off the tee.
1-4-458. The 1st hole is indicative of the course’s love of split fairways. Three trees stand tall in the exact middle of the fairway. Going left 300 yards leaves 165 to the green but going right on the fairway leaves 140. The bunkers are 330 yards out so only a tailwind will bring them into play. The green generally slopes to the left.
2-4-463. The western winds will help us steer our ball along this dogleg left. Pin #3 is nestled between the helpful slopes at the green’s back.
3-3-154. A very short downhill par-3, requesting us to club down at least one – with a western tailwind, a wedge is sufficient. There’s severe sloping on the back half of the green.
4-4-462. The 2nd split fairway has us carry a cliff straight to the left fairway or we could use the dogleg left fairway on the right side. The drive heads far downhill – average drives will be about 320-going 320 left leaves 140 and the better angle, while going right 320 leaves us with 165 with a greenside bunker to compete with. The green has a diagonal spine that could force awkward lag putts.
5-4-457. This dogleg left is similar to hole #2. There’s plenty of room to crank a straight drive but watch the cavernous bunker – the first one left of the fairway. The green is calmer than the first 4 and should be easy to negotiate.
6-5-544. A 60-foot downhill par-5 with the course’s 3rd split fairway – 4 bunkers sit together between the 260-300 yard marks. A 300-yard drive left leaves 235, the same drive right leaves 260 and a steeper camber, but the better angle to the green around the water. A two-tiered green, #3 pin is helped by the slopes.
7-3-186. This scenic downhill par-3 can be distracting with its powerful waterfall and island green but the highly undulating and complicated green is 40x40 yards – plenty of room to land but tough to putt on. Pin #3 sits on the back right with slopes leaning in towards it.
8-4-501. A straightaway downhill par-4, the fairway isn’t worrisome – best to drive it to the right for the best angle of approach. The green is another department store with 3 sections to shop for a birdie.
9-4-329. A drivable par-4 there’s a lot of OB left and right since cliffs threaten balls just off the fairway on the right and there’s an unplayable left of the rough around the greenside bunkers. I pitched it along that area and it appears that the OB brush is accurate – matching the overhead map. The mall-like green has 4 stores to shop in for birdie but watch the severe false front.
10-5-562. These fairway sides are having numerous divorces from one another – this marriage ended because of the potentially disaster canal that sits between. A 300-yard drive left leaves 225 to the flag while going right leaves 265 but the canal is easier avoided and the angle of approach is more appropriate for the dogleg. The green has a smattering of slopes.
11-4-456. Another divorced couple of fairways, it was the trees that split them apart once and for all. I’ll again give the yardages for both choices – 300 yard drive: 159 left, 200 right. There’s no advantage going right since the green’s front is blocked off by 3 bunkers. We could wind up with a beach ball since there’s 16 bunkers in total here. The unfriendly #3 pin is very difficult to get close to.
12-4-492. An extremely difficult hole. There’s been plenty of multiple choice equations off the tee – this fairway is divided by a centerline bunker. Sorry I sound like I’m repeating myself – 300 yard drive: approach from the left will be 230. A chunk of yardage can be taken out of the approach if the drive can sneak right between the water and bunker leaving just 190 but it’s a scary tee shot. The green’s back is split by a spine and the #3 pin is close to the water’s edge.
13-4-418. These trees just have no respect for fairways – they just stand there giving us headaches off the tee – I thought I liked trees. Hitting it left from the tee is easier but hitting it right suits the approach angle best but we could be blocked off by the trees. A birdie chance since the green is easier.
14-3-192. Looking out at the water on 14 from the cliff makes me feel like I’m on top of the world on this downhill par-3. A beautiful scene, the #3 pin sits in a bowl but is closest to the cliff.
15-4-430. Our driving accuracy will surely be tested at Inca’s Edge. Centerline bunkers give us more options – left has the wider landing area but it’s near the cliff. Either way, the wedge approach shouldn’t be difficult once we’re on the fairway. The green has an array of slopes that disagree with each other.
16-4-372. A short par-4 with 4 centerline bunkers – it doesn’t matter much which side you choose since it’s a wedge approach in. The green has severe sloping – lag putting will be a nightmare.
17-5-530. A plain straight fairway with no split, there’s a 20-foot deep hidden barranca right of the driver landing area that is NOT OB. The back of the green is severely sloped- best not to mess with it and stay below the hole.
18-4-439. One final centerline bunker to contend with – going right leaves a 20-yard shorter, better angle approach than if the drive headed left. Stay below the hole since the green is sloped severely from back-to-front.
Have a great week everyone.

Just a heads up for this event. The platinum tour is stuffed to the gills. They just had 175 people complete their rounds this week while 11 more promoted to it from Elite and only one (me!) demoted out of it. That being said, I'll still put up 2 spots for Platinum to give Elite members something to play for - but just know that it's pretty crowded up there.
Quick look at this weeks numbers (which we are not using) would have 175 promotions available - which would be our lowest ever - so it should be a pretty competitive event as I don't see that shifting too far. Don't think we'll see 300+ promotion slots like the first two. So get out there and shoot some low scores!

Is there an issue with scores showing correctly on the leaderboard? I shot -9 on round one but its showing as -10.

EDIT - Fixed thx for heads up!

Will there be a locker room thread? I'm looking for a place to advertise the new Cow Hunt season. Or does it exist already? Have I missed it? Help!
