^ Echo this. The greens were incredibly fun in a way that previous courses with that amount of red (mine included) just haven't quite managed. Every hole and pin gives you ways to get at it or recover from near-death to salvage a birdie using some backstop or mound. Think my favourite of the whole bunch was 12: great downhill hole where driver needs to be super precise in order not to run out, 3 wood leaves a 7 iron+ in, there's all sorts of camber and then you had pin four sitting in this little swale meaning it's either feast or famine. Bloody loved it.
Planting and surfacing looks won't get enough credit either. Know from chatting with you throughout how much you've worked on layering the various surfaces and textures to get that look and damn if it isn't just perfect.
Great start to the contest. Quality stuff, buddy.

Saw this very early into the project during one of your very rare Twitch streams. This final product is primo. The texture work is very well done, and it adds a lot to the elevated views. The measuring tool screenshot is dope too. Who judges the judges' courses?!?! Whomever that is has a tough job for sure!

This place has such a great vibe. The course really feels like it's been there forever. I played all 4 pins and still feel like I need to play it 16 more times to fully understand it and that's the best kind of course.

Great stuff king. Was fun watching Ryan and Petty struggle their way around. Can't wait to give a real round. Hopefully I end up in a lot less bunkers than they did.

What a great course right here! Just love the openness of the holes. just goes to show, that you don't have to make a 7500yd course to make it challenging. I just really like this course, oh wait I said that already. Favorite hole was 10, that green was awesome.

I love the lighting choice on the course, suits it well. I'm a sucker for short but not driveable par 4s, especially with how weird pitching can be in this game, and you have several good ones!.
Hole 6, Pin 1, Black tees, nearly albatrossed it to 1 foot from the hole, that crossed shaped green was sure fun to maneuver for.
The greens in general played fair despite the many red breaks! In terms of fun factor I think you've nailed it as this course is very fun to play in general. Shot -8 (couldnt beat petro's -9) and now have the best putting accuracy on the course lol. PC Black tees Masters pin 1

Thanks for all the comments above fellas, took a lot of risks with this course trying to make something a bit outside the box while playing purely fun. The closed in plot but open feel throughout made it tough in the end to close in the plot and for the most part hide the outside unused plot. Textures were the main focus from the start, attempting to push the delta theme buried tree method to the max and incorporate one of the new pine straw surfaces in the new game mimicking the native areas for the tree placement. Ultimately was going for the course to look like it has no heavy rough anywhere except the walking paths. Greens were a worry heading into publish glad to hear people are enjoying them, tons of slopes to get to the hole on the correct tier which makes for some fun putts when you're not in the right spot. Good times on the tours with tons of crazy good courses coming out in the next few weeks for the Dream Team contest

Just came to bump this but JC beat me to it Good to read your thoughts on the design though, as you definitely nailed what you were going for, and the course overall. Loved my round, the greens were so damn good, the look is unique and memorable and the holes have a great variance to them despite the course being short. Always a subtle new look and shot to play. King doing king things. Course is sick. Next question.

Only got to play about 7 holes last night, but really liking this one. Has a little bit of, "did he just create a new theme?" level of uniqueness. The greens are definitely adventurous, but I'm enjoying most of them so far. Looking forward to the rest of the round.
