Dear Happy Tee Friends, Mike sandsaver01 has informed me that he'd like to opt out of HTF. Mike, thank you for having been a very pleasing and uncomplicated participant! Even before becoming a permanent member, you helped the group multiple times as a (sometimes very spontaneous) substitute, and that is very much appreciated! You know that our door is open if you change your mind at some point. On the other hand, please give a warm welcome to Scott scottiewalnuts! He will be replacing Mike with immediate effect and thus join #IronCoversMatter ( EvilTak). Scott, we're glad that you chose to stay with us for some friendly competitive golf! Welcome aboard! Cheers, The Happy Secretariat

Dear Who Itz Up Tho', I'm very happy to report that I managed to stay concentrated for almost all four rounds! Some off-tempo approaches spoiled my R2 score, but still I'm happy to have saved a double digit score there. Cheers, good luck, and allez Who Itz Up Tho'!

A good first week, with the exception of a mental fart at round 3...
-10 -12 -7 -12
For a total of -41. I have to admit, changing to these settings was a good idea from TGCTours. Gaming is for having fun and this is a much less frustrating experience!

I.C.M. TAGROCKET, sorry team struggling with these pro settings, I know, weird right? -11 -10 -8 -10 TOTAL -39 It is weird a little bit. Lots of thing can explain that, but I'm sure you will eventually be better at Pro than Master. I used to score 5 shots worst at Pro than Master, but we're talking about the good ol red-fast period

Weekly report #1 is here!
First week is in the book! What conclusions can we make about this? None, it's way too early. But... I have noticed something too big to not talk about it. Let's have a look at the results and a special attention to the total shots difference between winners and losers.
T-Platinium wins 11.5 to 4.5 over Pro Shot Golfers with 29 shots better. Golfathers wins 12 to 4 over Mackerels by 16 shots. Bandits wins 12 to 4 over The Cassino Always Wins (still a cool name) by 12 shots. WhyUpsT wins 12 to 4 over the Irons by 9 shots. And finally, Bullseyes wins 10.5 to 5.5 over Shall We? by... 7 shots!
Do you see it too? Beating your opponents by an anecdotic small 7 shots or a very nice 29 shots total could maybe give your team the same big payday with this new formula. Still a big maybe, but let's keep an eye on this. Experienced players in this league knows something. Scoring 4 rounds of -10 for a -40 total is probably giving less points for your team than this -40 could: -5, -10, -11, -14. As in any other competition, there's some luck involved. Maybe the eagle you made in round 2 was useless in the end, but could have change everything if done in 4th round. Pressure will rise quickly if this is the kind of difference between a win and loss.
It will have an immediate effect on the 3 stars of week. Total personnal points are now getting even more considerations than before.
1st star Peter Kroes, -60, 4-pts. Pool #3 player posting one of the best score of the week, getting max points. There can't be a better description of what it takes to get a weekly star here. Stellar entry in the league!
On to week #2, The Garden of Eden is our battle field. Don't be impressed by the tight drive on hole #1, it's fairly open after. Expect one or 2 rounds on the shorter tee. Platinium players will be able to clean their eyes on this beautiful fall course, cause their eyes will bleed for 72 holes on their weekly course! π
Have a nice week, and good luck! ππββοΈ

After being completely destroyed week 1 I had to get out early and try to improve my game.
Round 1: -10 Round 2: -15 Round 3: -17 Round 4: -16
Total -58
Much better this week, this was a nice looking course, fun to play. Probably a bit too easy with these settings.
