Hi all, Week 4 is complete and the Secretariat insisted I would update you again on how things stand... Kaweechelcher is still ahead of the pack with 40 points. For some reason, I don't think that it's a coincidence that the team with our Luxemburgian lover of straight courses, who hand-picked all teams, is leading things...  In second and third place, we find Chubb's Right Hand with 30 points and John Daly's Mullet with 29.5 points. Trying to salvage some dignity in the last two weeks are Only here for the Buffet with 22.5 points.So, all this means that in week 5 the Hand and Daly's Mullet will go head to head to decide who gets a chance to catch the repetitives in the final week, while they'll need the Buffet to give Kaweechelcher food poisoning to make that mathematically possible! For some reason, I don't think that it's a coincidence that the team with our Luxemburgian lover of straight courses, who hand-picked all teams, is leading things... I honestly have a very bad conscience because my team is dominating. I tried to base the teams entirely on the participants' results during the first TGCT weeks, and for transparency, I included past performances in the Spreadsheet under "Participants" (scroll to the right). It didn't help either that one of the star players jumped off in the last minute. I guess I should have redone teams before starting the season, though. As this has been the first large scale event I have been organizing, this is part of my learning process, and I hope you all bear with me. If there is enough interest in continuing this, I am happy to organize a second season. Thus, I would ask all participants to indicate if they will be taking part in Season 2 of Happy Tee Friends until the end of this week.Thank you, the Secretariat |
