Dear Happy Tee Friends, léif Leit, déi rit zilen, Still a work in progress here as I continue refining my calibration to improve consistency with pitches and flops. Clearly, the scores are not yet worthy of a Pool 1 player, especially on this week's easy course (which looks stunning btw!  ), but they're at least better than last week. I feel your pain, mate. I had to quit my first round yesterday in rage  The course looks totally fine and easy to birdie, but I could only hit red fast after red fast. The funny thing for me is that I have always aimed to perfect shots, even with the first version of the game, so it is not that I had to adapt to the change. But the swing tempo feels also different, I don't know... I spent today one hour at the golf range and somehow managed to at least land half perfect shots/half grey fasts... But I am still clueless on how I went from my 70% perfects to this situation. Hope that tonight is better! |

crazy week. Red Monster was hard to fight the first two Rounds then all got good with an extraordinary ace on hole six with 3w on the final day.

At first I thought it became slightly easier to get perfects, at least on full shots. But then my quotas dropped way below 50% especially on pitches, and with the considerable penalty, those misses cost me a few shots per round. It's surely related to subconsciousness, but anyhow, I had to do something about it. And so I recalibrated, and now I'm gradually adjusting the ingame mouse swing sensitivity setting to find a stable setup that is compatible with my mouse movement on full shots and pitches at the same time. I know that the perfect swing movement speed is exactly the same for both types of shots except for the transition between backswing and downsing, which is slightly longer for pitches ( have a look here). Thus, it is either a subconscious thing again, or the longer transition makes me move the mouse differently when performing a downsing for a pitch shot. |

Recalibration kinda worked and at least I managed to improve the score at each round. Next week will continue the streak, hopefully!
