trying new longer wedges with less forgiveness What have you changed and why? I can recommend the black Callaways, which I use in 46, 52, 56, and 60 degrees. They are very good for shot shaping and still easy enough to handle. |

Was just checking the WGR and scrolled to the bottom of the page and saw you at the bottom @ 100. Not a bad list to be on the bottom of. No official rank, just one of the good guys of the forum. I don't take part in the Cow Hunt (too many rounds to play right now, maybe next season) but every where I look I see the upmup making this site a better place. I figured for all that you do for us, the least we could do is give you a shout out for cracking the list! Well deserved sir. |

They are very good for shot shaping and still easy enough to handle. I had a very large gap in from my pitching wedge at 117 to my 9 iron at 142 and it was starting to cost me strokes in that gap. I got it down to where I could change my angle and roll to get to those 130-135 yard pins but if I didn’t land it perfectly or hit the rough at all it would roll way passed the hole. I switched to the Talormade sims or sim max I can’t remember. I’ll try those black Callaways in a practice round tonight and see if I like them. If so you might be in trouble for the hunt.... |

Muppenkup-level is out of town today, that's why I stopped after 2. Had a solid start with a tying -10, but then I think I got a little too tired. Many wonky swings and misread putts left me at -7. I'll finish later this week (= tomorrow probably).

Dear Happy Tee Friends, I am very pleased to confirm that all current participants have agreed to stay for a second season. This is a success. Thank you for your ongoing interest in this group! With fransslabak , corey , cjb2 , and myself, we also have the four captains needed to do a draft. Thus, we will take a week off next week in order to prepare the upcoming season. Players will be distributed in four pools according to their average score in Season 1. On Sunday (if rl stuff doesn't get in the way), I will publish these pools. The captains are then requested to rank all available players (= all players except for the captains) in each pool and send their choices via PM. I will also publish the turn order according to which the captains' choices are taken into account for each pool. Once I have received all requested feedback, I will reveal the teams for next season. There will be one additional change affecting the fourth round (team effort) with the aim of adding some nuance to the distribution of points. More on that soon, so stay tuned.
