In a pretty dominant manner, The Legend of Carl Carmoni wins the Season 4 Happy Tee Friends championship! You guys played another very consistent season, winning every match by at least 2 points! On the individual side, congratulations to the Season 4 MVP nameerik on winning the Sky Blue Trophy Tee, defeating the defending champion Loveskud in a photo finish! Dear Happy Tee Friends, a very turbulent Season 4 is in the books. With the red fast nerf having been introduced to the game just before the start of the season, many participants that initially enjoyed the game and the additional competition at Happy Tee Friends suddenly found themselves struggling and/or not enjoying the game anymore. As a result, we had to replace quite a number of players throughout the season in order to ensure a somewhat smooth (Week 6 aside) running of the league. Thus, I would like to thank you all for your (ongoing) patience that you exhibited by having kept posting your scores on a weekly basis. Moreover, a special thank you goes out to all new members for your (sometimes spontaneous) availability and for having seamlessly integrated in our little group. Now for the hard part. Please join me in giving an honourable farewell to LtColumbo_92 ddixjr509 jivesinator sattsjr dingersinger matthew_titots , and especially to my inventory players cjb2 and OldSouled . Guys, thank you for having enriched our group with your pleasant manner and fine humor (I'm particularly looking at you, cjb2 ). Moreover, thank you for having finished Season 4 in spite of the circumstances. I certainly hope you all had a good time with us, and please rest assured that the HTF door is always open in case you'd like to come back! Cant believe I stole the MVP from Loveskud despite being 126 strokes behind him.

Dear Happy Tee Friends, Finally, here's a quick update on next season. Season 5 starts in TGCT-week 42. With 9 participants leaving and 5 players entering, we are currently at 28 players. Clearly, the goal is to have 32 players again, so I will use our two week break to do some further advertising for our group. Moreover, we only have 3 confirmed captains at the moment ( InsanericK, fransslabak and myself). Thus, if you are interested in participating at the Season 5 draft (explanations below) and naming your team (no further duties!), please get in touch with me as soon as possible! At 32 players (8 teams), we need 5 more captains. In terms of rules, I am still thinking about a minor change to the conditions for winning the individual championship (The Sky Blue Trophy Tee). Apart from that, there will be no changes with respect to Season 4 in terms of rules and scoring. Next week, the 8 teams will be set up by means of a draft. Just like for Season 4, all participants will be ranked according to recent performance (mostly HTF individual average score plus TGC tournaments for new members) and then subdivided into 4 pools. Each team captain is then allowed to choose players from the three pools he does not belong to. This is realized by ranking the available players of each pool from 1st choice to last choice. Once all captains have submitted their choices, we proceed to the allocation of players to the teams. Here, each captain receives the highest ranked player that is available when it's his turn. Finally, the team compositions are communicated here in the thread. Here's the detailed Timeline: This upcoming week (TGCT-week 40): - Qualification for the 4th Secretariat Of The Secretariat Cup - Recruitment of new players - Recruitment of new captains Next week (TGCT-week 41): - The 4th Secretariat Of The Secretariat Cup - Sunday June 27: communication of draft pools and draft order - until Tuesday June 29: captains submit their choices via PM to the draft supervisor (the sooner the better) - Wednesday June 30: communication of the teams - until Saturday July 3: captains set up their team chats (optional) and communicate the name of their team In 2 weeks (TGCT-week 42): - Start of Season 5 Cheers, The Happy Secretariat |

Erik was a fantastic leader, congrats for the MVP! I had ghosted this guy so many times in the past, it was special to win this season with him! 😘
Daniel just decided that from week 4, he was the best XBOX player in the world! Congrats for these scores man, it was impressive!
Marc-André provided us the stability to win every week. The more I play this league, the more I think the player from pool #4 is a game changer every weeks and might have more impact on final score than others. Take note, futur captains! 😜
As for myself, I'm very happy for 6 of the 7 weeks. I especially clutched in the very important 4th round lots of time.
And now I'm back to back champion in this league. Who else did that? That's right, 2X! The Doc! So I announce right now that my next team will be called: Violence. Speed. Momemtum.
Good luck for next season to everyone, a special welcome to our new members! 😃
