Recently found myself in the process of planting 2,000 or so bushes that would consume my meter if i didn't single plant them. Even though copy paste works it doesnt feel as precise as If I single planted, so what did I do? I set up an autoclicker on my mouse that I could enable while planting that would machine gun out plants! You can still use the controller to move the camera and just enable the mouse's autoclicker whenever. you can also adjust how fast the clicking is.

I use the copy and paste for large areas. Using either method you're going to have to go back and fine tune individual plants anyway. I like copy paste because it's faster and helps you stay consistent in sizes and density.

I like copy paste because it's faster and helps you stay consistent in sizes and density. The thing I wish we could do with copy/paste is paste at the same height that items are sunk down to. I know that’s difficult with different terrain in the pasting area but it would still be useful on many occasions I think. The varying height would just add to the natural look I think.

Right that's why I only use it for kind of the more large off-course areas where specific adjustments to height or sunkeness doesn't really matter too much. Still love they improved that from before and it's a huge time saver but important to do more individual planting close to the playing areas so it looks right.

What I really wish we could do is paste multiple times after copying something. That would really save time with planting grassy areas. The technique I am currently using for my native areas is to spam plant some grass, turn/resize, then spam plant some more and repeat until I have a look that I like. I can then copy and paste sections to other areas if needed.

Do controllers with turbo buttons work on this game, or any other Steam games?

I have to single plant grasses and taller heights - rotating and resizing along the way. They I have to navigate back to the planting farm - area select - copy - and move back to where I'm targeting the new planting (pasting).

If doing a course with lots of grass, I just have a grass farm which I move into the fairway of the hole I’m planting so I don’t have to travel back to the original farm, I then just move that patch to the next fairway when finished on that hole and then delete after all planting done

Actually Q, after watching Crazycanuk’s video on YouTube where he interviews Arctic Fury, I wonder if this is what he was eluding to when he said he was fast and had a few hacks.....hmmmm .... ponders 🤔 I bet this is one of them. Arctic Fury is like the Banksy of the golf game world. Just pops up every now and then with a masterpiece then slides back into the shadows again .... (Is Banksy known worldwide? If not then that will mean nothing to people outside the UK) 😊

CrazyCanuck trying out a similar method! Much faster than copy paste
