That and it would also be great to have the mow likes follow the waypoints for each hole. Sometimes the diagonal mow looks can look really bad, especially on a teeing ground.

So great to see courses like this being worked on. I understand the allure of using the lidar tool to recreate every TPC LUPLand course on the tour, but being able to virtually play all of these classic private courses is what adds the most value for me.

In the design tool can you create the mow line down the centre of the fairway like the overhead shot in the earlier post? Just wondering as I have not seen this in other courses. Looking good too pobee! Ugh, not having that fairway mow option (classic cut) in the game really bugs me. It’s implemented on tons of great courses. Couldn't agree more. The center mow line is AWESOME

I agree. Oakmont, that course in Georgia, and Merion are great examples. I've never played them irl, but feel like I have because of this game. I can now walk through a round in my head on these courses and many more.

Shinnecock is in my top 20 yes... I currently have about 50 real life american courses ranked that I have found to be really good in 2k but there are a lot a lot in the works that should make the list

What is everyone's take to adding length to an RCR that doesn't exist IRL? Put another way, what are people's thoughts on adding tee boxes to spots that could realistically be built while preserving the strategy as intended on the wholes. With the 2k clubs and wide-ish fairways at this gem, it plays really short.
I play with no assists on because I am a junky for real simulation, so I feel I play the holes as they ought to be IRL but I could see it becoming a wedge fest for most players.
Thoughts? There a definitely some spots to add a back tee to some of the holes

Maybe make a note in your write up when you decide to publish about which are the actual IRL tees and which are the souped up, special 2K21 tees. Love how this looks so far btw. Excited for the finished product!

I think adding a little length to make it play closer to how it played when designed is always a good thing if done properly and aesthetically

I think adding a little length to make it play closer to how it played when designed is always a good thing if done properly and aesthetically Given how architects like Hanse, Doak and others are adding length or moving bunkers up fairways to adapt renovations of classic courses IRL to modern technology, certainly seems fair to do here if you like. Given my own relatively paltry 2k club advancement so far, I can't quite tell how far the advanced clubs go, so have to make some assumptions on where to place things accordingly. For these classic courses, might be fun to adapt as well. Garden City will be great to play.
