I found the water...multiple times in the final round. A +1 in the 4th after a -11 in the 3rd was a gut punch. Finished at -16 in CC-E.

This is how it often goes for me, but to an extreme this time. I shot a 57 in practice. By far the best round I’ve played on this game. For my official round, I came back down to earth for a 65. Was playing a practice round and was 7 under through 9 then thought I was ready to go. Jumped onto tournament and bogeyed hole 2 and tripled hole 3. Was a fight from there. Uggg. Going to try to go low in round 2 and make the cut. Ha ha, I stopped doing practice rounds for this very reason! Way too frustrating shooting well in practice then stinking it up in competition.

I've had a bad couple of weeks but this course really suits me.
-9 and -7 puts me in a strong position in CC-B, hopefully I can capitalise. The -7 included a hole in one on the par 4 11th... followed by a double bogey on 15!

This game is so up and down lol I am pretty close to giving up if im honest, only playing the TGC rounds each week. This week started like all other last couple of weeks, 5-6 holes where the swing feels fine, then suddenly it starts to feel completely different and i go from perfects to red slows on more or less every full shot unless i REALLY exaggerate to try and get a red fast, there is no inbetween. after sundays R1 i finally get to the clubhouse at -1, and an all but given missed cut yet again. today i decided to start the game to atleast complete round 2 to avoid 2 strikes for a WD. after the most insanely lucky streak so far in this game i find myself -10 after 9 in R2, with an abysmal FIR around 40% lol think i had 1 or 2 "good" swings on the front 9, but everything just dropped on the greens (guess this is what the good putters feel every round lol) when i reached -11 after 10th i stared to try to concentrate and play abit safe(not easy when you have no clue if any given shot will be red fast or slow) and not surprisingly that led to a weak finish. Guess it will have to be 2 more rounds this week
result so far R1 70 R2 60

Suffered a horrid couple weeks of abysmal XB tempo, but thankfully some semblance of feel has returned recently (how long that lasts this time remains to be seen)...so back to feeling like I at least have some degree of control of my ball.
Anyway -13 thru 2 wouldnt usually get me too excited, but after recent struggles I'm happy with it.
18th is a brute. I've had 2 bogeys, both of em there after missing the fairway off the tee both times.

Let's just say that my scorecards this week are quite colorful.

A few too many trips to the watering hole in Rs 3&4 for me Could very well cost me a promo, but at least it was nice to be competitive again. -22 (CC-B)

Even though I barely made the cut this week, it is fun playing challenging courses that require you to make decisions on when to be aggressive and when to play for par. I checked out the course on deck for a few weeks from now, The Sand Pit. That course will truly separate the men from the boys. Accuracy off the tee is IMPERATIVE!!

-28 after four rounds in CC-E. Won't win but will be in the top part of the leaderboard and should at least get a promo mark. Pretty happy with it, tempo was really consistent across all rounds this week.

R1 68 R2 64 R3 61
Decide to play a couple WIP courses that looked really nice before playing to work on my swing and practice. BIG MISTAKE! The green speeds on the two courses were 119 and 110 got to be kidding me. Totally My fault for not playing a practice round or at least a few holes of the this course. Couldn’t get it going and shot 71. Still, not bad for my first event on the CC Tour. Probably not enough to get a promo mark but will have to wait and see.

I made the cut after shooting -3 and -1 on my first two rounds, so imagine how surprised I was when I was -9 through 13 in my third round. The wheels came off on the next 3 holes with 2 bogies and a double on holes 14-16 but a birdie on the 17th seen me finish at -6.
If you said I would shoot -6 on the first tee I would gladly take it, but after them 3 holes I was kinda disappointed I didn't go lower.

Ayers Point Golf Club by arcticfuryWelcome to what your scheduler considers to be the first major of the year. There are no official majors on CC, but every once in a while I like to give you a course that will test all aspects of your game. I would make sure you're tempo is on point or make sure you guard against the big miss. You will score here if you're on point, but the big numbers can approach quickly if you aren't. You're coming in off of a storm.. high winds and soft conditions will great you in round 1. After that, things will die down on the wind and firm up on the course. The weather caused a delay to start round 3, so greens didn't get mowed and we're up a tee to compensate. Good luck! Anyone would take -9 after thirteen holes 🕳 Well played, now you know those kind of scores are in you. It’s easier to iron out the errors.

This course is lovely but boy some holes have crippled me. 15 birds after 3 rounds but sitting +2. Ouch.

Looks like I'll be making the move up to D after a hot R3 and R4 has me sitting in 7th place in CC-E (-27). Only one bogey in the final two rounds coming on hole 1 of R3. The biggest improvement was on holes 15 & 18, which I played to a combined +5 in R1 and R2 coming back to play them at -1 in the final two rounds. 21 and 22 putts respectively in those final rounds is as well as I have putted in this version of the game. Looking forward to competing in D.

tough course , tough conditions even when there's little wind , and final round in a gale , eek last 4 holes are nightmares only my 2nd tourney after Q-School , thrown in the deep end in CC-B extremely happy with -7 , -10, -13 , -5 for total of -35 going to get me 1 promotion point , could be 2 all the practice i've had after hours and hours of learning how to play from the rough and bunkers paid off in these 4 rounds
