Georgia Match Club, the (not-quite) famous spring championship course is released. Plays to about 7,400 yards from the championship tees, and 6,800 or so from the members tees. Features generous areas of short grass and devious greens. Special thanks to Ben and Dan for help tweaking and redesigning the course, and to VctryLnSprts for the awesome clubhouse area.

Just gave it a play. That was a fun course to traverse. Fantastic work on the bunkering and the contours were exceptional. Well done!

Is this better then Firethorn National? Im seeing alot of designers doing courses that we already have really good versions of in the game like Chicago golf club and now this one which is totally fine it just makes it kind of confusing trying to figure out which is the superior version etc.

Although your question highlights just how DAM good Matt is at capturing that look. Dear God this place is so pure.

The course isn't an RCR of Augusta, but an "inspired by" where I tried to capture the look and feel of the place without copying the actual real life course. That way, regardless of how litigious ANGC is feeling, there should always be something playable to scratch that itch. Plus, it lets me get back to a little more of that "width and angles" mantra the course had before they narrowed it to try and make it harder.

Great, thanks - just in time to watch the real tournament and add a nice creative journey in the game as well... Does this mean you'll had a Fall version, too? Ha - kidding, but maybe

Aug*sta N*tional used to play sooooo much better before all the “tiger-proofing” took place. I’m so looking forward to playing this.

I may be a little biased because MattF27 is a good friend and also the clubhouse is just amazing, but this course is honestly really fun to play too! Great job Matt!

Great course here, Matt! It was tough but did have plenty of opportunities to score if you execute your shots which, I’m pretty sure at least, is exactly what Ol’ Jobby Bones had in mind when he founded the Georgia Match Club. Really enjoyed my round of 69 (with 7 birdies and an eagle, lol) especially when I capped it off by draining a 37 foot bomb for birdie on the last hole. Thanks so much for this terrific course! 5 ⭐️!

Very well done as usual Matt. Found it somewhat easier than that course with no name but I assume that was your intent anyway. Will be my go to Augusta fix for when I don't feel like getting a dick punch from now on.
Oh and I loved the entrance, clubhouse etc too. Great job guys.
