I'd just like to state that I managed to exceed my goal of 1-under on the 8th (for the tournament). Managed to go 2-under with a chip in par from the left rough to save it in the 4th round!

i just wanted to stop in and say this weeks course.....was not fun, was much better before the edits to the greens and pin locations.
call it realistic if you want, let a real pro step on these greens in real life, and +10 would be a good score for him.

I enjoyed it, it will be a challenge again whether deemed fair or not and I know 3 pars in first 3 holes won't kill my next 69 holes

I enjoyed the tournament for the first 64 holes, then a 4 putt on hole 11 from 10 ft left me screaming at the tv. 61,63,64,63 33 under Now onto Augusta

And yet quite a few still went low. That says all there is to say, it's me, not it.

I always played it driver to the upper fairway and pitch shot to the green from there. Couple times I was able to stop a pitch about 2-3 feet from the hole for birdie, or worst case had it roll back down and to the left into the rough where it seems to be a pretty easy chip straight back up the hill to save par at least. Even sank a chip for birdie during 1 practice. Maybe I've just gotten lucky

Should have had 1 more practice round, shot - 2 round 1. Then probably my best round ever -13 round 2. Has anyone ever shot tournament record and missed cut? Well time will tell if either happens.

15 under is a good score & will make the cut. Plus 13 under is a very good round.

Wouldn't be surprised if 13-under is low round of the tourney - great shooting!

Man I thought I was shooting good in Rd 2 when I got to -8, was keeping up with you for a little bit, then I look at the leaderboard and see you at -13 for the round lol. Anyways, I ended up at -13 total after the first 2 rounds. I do much better on these "difficult" courses for whatever reason, makes me think and concentrate more on my shots I suppose. Finally made a cut last week at Bison Run after missing like 4 in a row and thinking -13 should be good enough again this week.

Just finished up my final round. -23 for the tournament(in John the commentators voice). Managed to hole out for eagle on #8, I think I played #8 at -3 for the 4 rounds(par, par, birdie, eagle). Got myself in a bit of a predicament on #9... my 2nd shot trickled barely on the front left corner of the green leaving me an 80+ foot putt that looked like I needed to aim over the fringe to get close. Debated with myself for a good 5-10 mins if I would be eligible to chip from there since I needed to aim my putt off the green but it was hard to tell because the green grid didn't cover that far away. Decided it wasn't worth risking the DQ so I attempted some other crazy looking putt hoping some miracle would get it close, no cigar. Ended up still 20 ft away and took a 3 putt bogey. A 91% drive on I think #14 cost me another bogey but other than that my final round 65 was pretty solid and I'm happy with it!
