SkyBlueBenAny idea when the new season is going to start I will be out of action probably the first week of next month with the move to Scotland Not a clue Les. Just waiting for news. We won’t start until TGCT week 2 in order to let people concentrate on getting their tour cards in the opening week. If your cards are that week then I won’t have mine is that a problem

If your cards are that week then I won’t have mine is that a problem won’t really matter Les as Q-School is played on the same course/conditions so I can still count the scores of anyone that goes into qualifying a week later.

SkyBlueBenWell that good play was short lived after getting a snowman on the short par4 15th oh what joy. Rd3 +2 Rd4 -4 I like the new settings except for long putts when it gives you +1 ft etc as I don't trust HB giving an estimated figure. I was wondering if there is a work around the long putts?

Yes but it's painful and involves some maths. In settings in Display & HUD, temporarily switch to metric to get the height in cms as there is no rounding error in metric. Convert that to inches yourself by roughly dividing by 2.5 (close enough). Then switch back to imperial and use that more accurate inches measurement as usual (given each grid square is about 3 feet).

Round 3 of the Barumble After seeing Ernie’s tale of woe and practicing at -9, I played birdie free until 14th, and by then the damage was done, highlighted by a 4-putt triple on #10, complete with two missed tap ins, which proved to be the difference. Three straight birds on 14 through 16 pulled me to within 1, but lost my cool on the closing holes, and couldn’t bring it to at least a tie, SkyBlueBen. Rd 3: +3 Nice match, Ernie. Almost snagged your ghost, and kind of wished I had. Next time, partner!

Round 4, or The Scrumble Ooooooooooooh those pin positions. Combined with that wind. >shudder< Feeling good about breaking par, but ready to move… how do you say it? Onward. Onward, SkyBlueBenRd 4: -1 Safely entrenched in the foundation division, but ready to see what the Dickens Casuals can do with the new set-up. Oh yeah. Onward.

Playing the Challenge Circuit exhibition (first round bogey free -5, taking most of the front nine to get the first bird), and my HCP jumped from +21 to +55… Explain it to me like I’m 5. Edit: played Round 2 (-1) and am now +99.9

Rd 3: +1 Rd 4: +1 Everything was going GREAT until Round 3, 17. Ended up with a spare and never could come back from it. That won't stop me from trying to be better next week 😁 SkyBlueBen 🦊
