If only I had the luxury of being able to play during the week. I get things out of the way Sunday to give me plenty of time to deal with the other stuff Art. It's a bloody AAA game. The servers should be able to cope with a number of us playing the same course on a Sunday. In all honesty it's not acceptable and everything about this game in it's current state is opening the door up very nicely for EA. The only advantage it's got is the course designer and I can live without that if need be!! My sanity is more important than fantasy courses! What is ridiculous is how seemingly dependent on the internet and server traffic this game is when all we are doing is moving a stick back and forth. Haven't been in here for a while - how're you blokes and Carol going? This business about not being able to play when it's convenient for you is the main reason I gave it away. I am now in 5 no-tempo societies and can play whenever I want. Only problem is -18 per round is the new par. Strangely enough I'm enjoying it for now. Don't get on the forum much these days but all I see are complaints from everywhere about the tempo. Why can't HB find a happy medium? Frustrating to say the least. Good luck to everyone in TBC.

SkyBlueBenRound 1 of doubles with my old pal @artheruvandelay. Solid round Art, I couldn't quite match that but maybe it will be enough for our team.

Tried the no tempo but it wasn't for me Pete. Tempo is fine if it was consistent. At the moment it's a lottery.

SkyBlueBen R4: -8 I had to be patient and wait for the birdies to come (TWSS!) but I'm pretty happy with that one. A 43ft putt for birdie on #17 helped with the mood. Overall a much more consistent event than last week with only a couple of tempo wobbles.

Ken i think patience is the name of the game on TGC right now Ive dropped so many shots recently pushing for birdies, 5 bogies and two doubles last week for a start. I’m guessing I’ve probably dropped over 40 shots in the last three weeks on the tours. It’s difficult for me because I’m a fast player naturally but I must try and slow down and think about my shots.

Especially on Bungalow. It's the sort of course that will bite you if you get too aggressive.

SkyBlueBenPub crawl, week 6 For the first time in weeks the tempo was pretty good, the problem is i can't play partial splashes anymore. So many greens designed to repel balls left me with no other shot than a partial splash which cost me so many shots. Don't think this will be much help in the pairs, sorry sid snott left you a lot to do, and not holding my breath in the singles.

SkyBlueBenPub Crawl rounds 1 & 2 - a tale of two radically different rounds.. Round 1 : Gimme Par was an apt name for this. SO. MANY. PARS. I either just barely missed the drive and was hitting from sand or just missed the approach and was left with too long a putt to convert, over and over again. 13 pars on the round. Luckily no bogeys, but only 1 eagle and 4 birds surrounding a ton of routine pars. R1 : -6 (65) Round 2 : total opposite. Didn't card my first par until the 12th hole and only 2 for the entire round, both of which hit the hole and spun out for 3 inch par putts. Started with a bogey on 1 and another on either 5 or 6, the rest were all birdies. 14 birds, 2 pars, 2 bogeys. R2 : -12 (59) How the hell do you go from 13 pars to 2 (and damn near none at all) in two rounds on the same course with similar conditions played back to back?

Tee to Green good for a change but left to righters are killing me, maybe tomorrow will be different.
