Kenny is a steal, fellas! He’s mere hours away from being a high level Posh Boy! My brother texts me this Bubbles gif probably three times a week. 🤣

It's Saturday in One In Every Pub and that means a visit to The Brew Crew's Droop to support one of our own. This week we take a visit to The Club at Mint Gully by the new kid in the Animal House Darin d2k8888 which will feature next week where we will be playing Modified Stableford looking for the Big Birds!! tgctours.proboards.com/thread/28068/club-mint-gullyThanks for the pub Ben! Pairs great with a Mint Julep. If you don't have sugar or mint though, strictly bourbon with or without water is more than acceptable. Hope you guys like it. Fits nice for stableford imo.

Driving down the new road for the first time -10 Pretty much the first round in serious competition for the new controller and I think it handled it quite well. Only a calibration and a swift one in the pub before hand (-6) . Looks like it's enough of a deviant to pass the api according to the feedback, unlike the other new one I got a while back which was straight as a die . Managed to grab two more strokes off the total score SkyBlueBen

Beer And A Chaser (commencing 29th August)
Loads of time before this needs to be sorted but I'm registering pairs for this as the spreadsheet is good to go. Handicaps will obviously be sorted nearer the time but you can team up with anyone as long as they're registered with us. No rush, just in case anyone wanted to get it sorted early. If you want to take part I could do with you taking part in at least 3 Beer League events (and reporting scores to me) between the start of Season 6 and the week preceeding the event to determine a handicap. This will not affect most of you as you generally play every week. Beer And A Chaser Scoreboard I'm in teaming up with the Guvenor (Carol inflames47) not sure if that's the right spelling in British English (Guvenor) but you know what I mean yeah

TBC hits the road from Greece to Spain as we took our talents (well there are some that have talent) to Real Club de Mallorca for some fun in the sun. Position round this week, let’s see how it all shook out. Rum Raiders, desperately trying to climb out of the cellar, were stung by the loss of a player due to equipment failure. Foregasm took full advantage, winning three of four pairs games and cruised to a 16-8 win. CF Gibson brought home a six pack for the ‘Gasms while the depleted Raiders were led valiantly by Captain Ashton and Doe with 3 a piece. Bad News Beers and Beast of Bourbon entered the contest tied in the standings. Beasts jumped out to an early 6-2 lead in pairs, then split the singles matches to hang on for a 14-10 win. Kie Farrell was in Beast mode, bringing home a six pack. Captain Dan and Jason each brought 3 for the Beers. The Rekking Ballz continued their good form of late, beating Bova’s Beer Chuggers 14-10. But this one was close, and thanks to Captain Ken and grizzled vet Ernie winning the last two singles the Ballz came out on top. The Ballz were balanced, with Ken Lokosky and Ross leading with 4 a piece, as Bova also led the BBC with 4. Table leading Tequila Slammers faced off with second place Boozers Out of Bounds, with 3 points separating them heading into this game. The BOoBs said so long to Mitch Miller and hello th Darin Richards, and the new flesh looked like it would fill the sweater nicely as they filled their doubles cards to the tune of a 6-2 lead. The Slammers stormed back in singles, with wily Captain Paul Bradford winning a clutch match to secure a 12-12 tie. The Bank was back in form, bringing 5 points home for the Slammers. Jeff Wildridge, lead singer for Wedgefoot, came up big with a six pack for the BOoBs. Tequila Slammers doubled their lead over BOoBs thanks in large part to their OFTR win this week. BOoBs now trail by 6 while the Balls are only 1 point out of second (there is an innuendo there that I am not caressing, don’t want a ban). Only 7 points separate 4th from 7th, while the Raiders very bad horrible week found them firmly entrenched in the cellar. But don’t sleep on those Raiders, a wounded thirsty bar hound is a very dangerous foe! This weeks PROSTS!: Half Centurions: Mallorca said “no bueno” to super low scores, no Half Centurions this week. The Bank came closest with -46. Team I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter: Butterball was a close contest, 4 strokes between top and bottom. Tequila Slammers win by a pat over the BBC. Six Packs to Go: Nearly a case this week, with CF, Kie and Jeff taking honors. Mr. Blobby: Johnny. If It Weren’t For Bad Luck: Art was totally meh at -27, but one point? That BOoB was just saggin. Right Place, Right Time: Lots of high value from high scores, like The Dr. Marks Bros each getting 2 points while scoring only -6 and -5; Paul Bradford also had nothing to sneeze at(see what I did there) with 2 for -5; Paul Matchen had 2 from -2; David Herron getting 3 from -2 is very impressive, but Darin getting 2 from +4? Perky mate, just perky. Week Five highlight match is Ballz vs Beasts. Upset prediction? Rum Raiders shock BBC when David Gee comes back from his DQ with a vengeance. Until then…. Onward!

Heading on holidays for a while so putting my scores in early. Next week should be interesting as I attempt to play remotely. Tried it once. Awful. +12 😲🤬 Anyway ordinary bookends, but the 2 scores in between were acceptable. Good luck Ballz. Will be keeping an eye on results from a comfortable chair, cocktail in hand, at Port Douglas, Australia. Have a great week Crew. Cheers Ross. Round 1
