@bovakian Loftyando Bloody Mary Cup Preliminary Round Result Leon Anderson ( Loftyando) beat Dave Kendall 5 & 4 and will go on to play Charlie Lindbergh ( deathstar). The card that I am ashamed of.

I’ll Take Mine to Go @ Kentash Bay My card will reveal it was a take of two halves. Kind of hurried the back nine in order to beat the sunset. Speaking of, found it terribly difficult to see what was happening all around me. I’m certain it’s a visually arresting course in the daylight. Didn’t get a chance to see it. I will say, the vista on the 18th approach is quite the spectacle, day or night. Will likely play this again as a casual round in live play (any takers?) with the lights turned up so I can have a better look at things. At any rate, SkyBlueBen, if you would be kind enough to mirror the front nine as my back nine, I’d be quite pleased. Be a gem, won’t you? -1 My pup Addie, on the other hand, wasn’t at all impressed by my play. Off to the next thing. I’ll leave the lights off for you.

Off to the next thing. I’ll leave the lights off for you. Hello darkness, my old friend I've come to talk with you again Because a vision softly creeping Left its seeds while I was sleeping

Septic Peg's week 2 forecast But first we look at how she did for week 1 For match one she got it totally wrong as the Puppies mauled and sobered all over the not so frisky Whisky's Match two saw the freshly born Rummy's beat Dennis and the rest of his comic friends which Peg predicted Match three between the Kraken and the Local Yokel's ended in a draw which Peg also foresaw Two out of three ain't bad SkyBlueBen On to week two and for match one the Menace's face the Sloshed Pups. With the Pups already having a win under their collars Peg thinks they will have another by the end of the week Match two the Loco's are against more Rum heads, this time it's the Born to Rum's , but who will be singing Glory Days at the weekend. Septic says it'll be close and the Brucey bonus will go to the Rums. Match three sees a battle of the spirits with the Whisky's taking on the Kraken. This could be another close one. Peg is going with the Kraken for this one Peg says good luck everyone and she'll be back next week with some more forecasts. How many will she guess this week ?

HAIR OF THE DOG - BREW CREW FINAL RESULTS - WEEK 1Match 1 - Lush Puppies vs Whisky GaloreLP's were best in the pairs with Pete & Andy taking maximum points. Dave S and Paul keeping WG alive with a win over Carol & Leon. Only one loss in the singles, a close 1 shot win by Dave K over Carol, and the LP's score a well earned debut win over WG. Have to mention the epic draw -16 apiece to Andy and Dave S and Pete's epic win over Dave S. The scorecard is framed on my study wall 'cos it'll never happen again LP 17 to WG 7Match 2 -Born to Rum vs Menace to Sobriety BTR were out of the blocks quickly, almost taking maximum points in the pairs. Only Art V and Mark L could stem the flow, salvaging a tie with Dan & Art B. This proved to be a winning lead because singles were all tied up four matches apiece. A couple of wins worth a mention here - Art B over Ben by a stroke and Ben over Dan by a similar margin. Good win here to BTR. BTR 15 to MTS 9Match 3 - Release the Kraken vs Loko in AcapulcoWell, first week and already we have our first tie! RTK came out strongly and took the lead after the pairs, Simon & Johnny leading the way with maximum points. LiA put up some resistance in the form of Dave H and Ken L winning their match against Les & Mark B. LiA then rallied and took five of the eight singles matches to level the scores. Couple of big results here were Ken L over Johnny by three shots and Jason over Mark B by the same margin. Titanic struggle here with no-one coming out on top. Good match. RTK 12 to LiA 12AwardsMVP - Pete 6 pts - full house. (No, it's not a misprint ) Blobs - Randy & Michael High Rollers - Some huge scores this week with plenty -40 or better. Here are the best. Dan -57, Dave S -52, Marc & Ken L both -51 and Andy -50. Well played lads. Team Event - Menace to Sobriety with 47 points Best Individual in Team Event - Mark B with 27 points from his 59 (-12). A remarkable score at the very tough Kentash Bay. Well played everyone! Great opening week. Just remains for me to scour the internet for a decent picture of our mascot. It's a tough job but someone's gotta do it - right? Onwards!!
