All the rest of the week's rounds...
R3 Pub Crawl - facing down Ken's -17, I was pressing early and spraying the ball all over the place. After driving the green on 11 and then 4-putting for bogey to drop me to -6, I turned the game off. Went back a few hours later and finished with a bang, carding back to back eagles on 13 & 14 and then birdieing out the rest. Great finish to a haggard round, but not enough to catch Ken's fantastic round.
R4 Pub Crawl - tougher conditions, but I struck the ball about as purely as I have on 2K21. Perfects all over the place, problem was - the putter didn't always cooperate. Just like earlier in the week, I was getting it pretty close, missing intermediate length putts, and settling for a lot of pars. A couple of eagles and 2 chip-ins from off the green made the score respectable.
R3 : -14 (58)
R4 : -12 (60)
OFTR : enjoyed the challenge of this course and was playing it quite well until I got to the 700 yard 15th. Perfect drive down the middle must have caught a knob in the fairway, as it bounced right at about a 45 degree angel and rolled into a deep bunker. Hybrid out didn't clear the lip and rolled back in. Switched to a mid-range iron.... hit the lip and rolled back in. Finally had to flop my way out and was still nearly 400 yards from the hole lying 4. Played fine from there, but still ended up with a double. That was the only blip besides a bogey on the last - that green is insane. Hopefully this helps, I was a few shots clear of the field on PS4.

SkyBlueBen Rds 3 and 4 Gave something for Ashton to think about. I will call this round double cribbage:  Gave Marc an early birthday prezzie. GG Sir, that was some shooting in those conditions:  Overall probably my best week of pixel gawlf in a long time. Was Humph Free for 72 holes here, and in line for my first promotion in CC since 2K21 came out. Looking forward to Triple C purgatory. Onward!

Happy Hour Team Knockout - A Reminder
Just a reminder that those involved in the team knockout but not registered with the Beer League will be required to produce scorecards for Round 4. Normal regular season rules apply, if you forget you'll need to go back and get it. That starts next week correct Ben? Also The Cocktail Knockout @bovakian is running could we please have course settings on spread sheet so we do not have to look for settings in a very active forum post , or is that something I totally missed. Thanks in advance guys for all you do |

IMO much easier to find the spreadsheet than to search forum posts. EDIT: They are there for the quarters, but not for the prelim. |
