Pub Crawl week 1 pairs SkyBlueBen Bogey free session.... Round 1: -11 Round 2: -13 Tied for 18th... 7th on PC alongside Crazy Croc ..... must be doin' summat right!!!  It's a funny old game. Doing OK myself in CC on a tricky course yet last on here on an easy course. |

SkyBlueBenPub crawl, round 3 Couldn't help feeling disappointed with this round. Although made some good putts after wayward approaches on the front 9 i missed 2 or 3 good chances, 2 eagle chances going a begging and salvaging par after finding the water on 16. Should give Avakrac something to think about in round 3 but i think it will be a close match. 56 -16

Food for Thought....
It's early days in Season 4 but I always have to look ahead, sometimes even just so I can liaise with Dan catcherman22 to try and get suitable courses for our end of season events. Carol inflames47 has introduced two new players Doe Coba Doe Coba and Cory St. Pierre cstpierre06 who are warming our subs bench along with Kie Kie Mitch volinvietnam Charles deathstar David G SirLeOssi (although David is looking at joining CC ranks possibly) and Jeff hoosierhoops24 We also have our old friends Ken W coggin66 Mike katana22 and Pat Celtic Wolf taking a break but joining us for special events. As you can see we are not far off having two extra teams which could possibly be made up from those already registered with the group. This would of course impact length of season and placing of End of Season events. It's worth a thought. Running 2 extra teams over the regular season doesn't cause a lot of extra work scoring wise but (1) I'm not sure how many of the above want to commit to a full regular season and (2) whether the rest of the group are comfortable with expansion. Comments welcome especially from those who are not currently taking part in the regular season.

Switched the PC on to do some Lidar stuff and realised why I don’t game on PC. Twenty minutes later it had downloaded and installed updates plus restarted. The number of updates every time I switch the PC on is ridiculous and I’m not talking about game updates. And that’s not including updates to Steam. Expansion, i think is inevitable and 8 teams would be the sweet spot. Probably need a couple more players for back up, would be nice to get a couple more console players to add depth to the cocktail hour events. A 7 week season would allow the cocktail hour knockouts to be separated and give Dan some time and space to schedule for the major events. sounds good to me. I'm in. |
