Good to see everyone seems happy with tightening the rules. It really will make things much easier to run.
And also appreciate all the offers of help. Proper group spirit which will ensure this Society stays strong.
Looks like I'm staying for another season, I'd probably miss you ugly bastards (and the beautiful Carol) too much anyway. My worries have been lifted. They'll be some changes, there has to be for the sake of my sanity, but at the end of the day all most of you really have to do is turn up and play pixel golf.

The first edition of Fox vs. the Field teed off as I took on the ghosts of Ken and Pat while paired with my ghost. I was hopeful to avenge my Apple Martini finals loss and also beat the man who made the place. If you want to watch the replay it's here: I quite enjoyed the round and the friendly competition. I'm looking forward to the next time I get some time to play, stream, and take on another pair 🙂 🦊🍺 That was fun to watch. Maybe third time lucky Ashton! |

OK just to clear up a few things.
1. When I said that "no one has done as much for this society & is great asset to the admin team" about Ben, I meant it and still do.
2. There is no great rift between Ben & myself.
3. There was no gigantic blow up in admin. It was and is, simply people with differing opinions.
4. This will not turn into dirtbags 2.0. I as does Ben have too much respect for this group and will always put The Brew Crew above our own interests, in that you can rest assured.

My major problem with time management is when things go tits up. Because the work behind the issue is always far bigger than the issue itself. So to keep you up to speed this is what I have suggested should happen in Season 4. The rest of Admin are all in bed and won't have read this yet and they may be vehemently against it. I don't really want to leave, playing different levels is not unsurmountable, but I desperately need to cut down the Admin work to make my life manageable so I'd like to put the onus back on the players. It is unfair on your team mates if you digress, but that's all part of being a team. We bring in new rules for (i) players not getting rounds in on time and (ii) being API'd. Straightforward DQ, no dragging around for subs etc. Team will have to suffer for players actions and (iii) you fail to produce a scorecard that is required you go and get it yourself....play your own ghost. Subs that are brought in in advance of the week are not a problem.I'm interested in the thoughts of the group on this. Agreed on all counts. |

I hopefully put No. 4 to bed as soon as it was mentioned Mike. What was very encouraging was that quite a few jumped in to help. Made me realise that I can fit both Master and Pro with a few changes in the background, I just needed to swallow my pride and ask for a bit of help. Chat later. |

How can you use a dodgy controller and still score +9?!!! When you're good, you're good?? It produced slow, mainly very slow swing most of the time which I thought was it being stiffer than the old one which gave me a bit of everything . |

All Les needs is a proper PC. 😉 I have a proper PC a gaming laptop I just can’t justify £300 a year to put office on it. I don't have office, survive quite well with the Google platform of stuff. |

I never produced work stuff at home, and once the kids were off the college we could cut the M$ cord so to speak. Now back to pixel gawlf please, this other stuff depresses me. |
