In an effort to bring some hokey back to this pokey....  I'm going to be streaming something NEW today 😮 The challenge: can a pair of Foxes best 2 Brew Crew members in match of better ball? We're about to find out. We'll see if it makes it out of the pilot but at 4:30ish pm EST today I am going to be streaming a round which features me paired up with me against 2 ghosts.  That's right! I'm going to my own best friend or own worst enemy in a game of better ball. If you're wondering how it's going to be a fair fight, I'll assure you I have that covered (with the help from Mr. Ben Tough 😉) Do I have you interested? I would also offer to help out more, but in recent times have become disillusioned with parts of the forums so I do not keep them open from start of day to end of day anymore and quite often ignore them completely from around 3pm my time until the next day. This post only being done as I felt I had to say something because of what has been going on since I last checked in 4 hours ago. This is not say that I would not change my present habits to help out a bunch of guys like you horrible lot plus Carol in times of need, though it's been over 6 years since I last did spreadsheets. Just ask and some backup will be made available. I do get what you mean Dave as one responsible for a lot of the drivel. As for spreadsheets, that's easy, scoring takes me no time at all. Now, if someone would like to take the responsibility of organising the Individual/Team knockout (participants/draw/fixture announcements/course selection and settings for Individual) that would be rather helpful. I'm happy maintaining the spreadsheets. |

I... just... umm... ah... Sigh...... 😔 Well, I'd like to offer the help from the entire Fox5 team (me, myself, and I 😂) to help in any way I (we) can... For the record, I'm not making a joke of all of this as believe me, I know how serious this is. But those of you that have been around since the Dirtbags know why this one hits a little different and a little harder for me. I hope things shake out and I'm here to help in any way I can. 🤝 🦊🍺 Don't worry Ashton, plenty of lessons have been learned from Dirtbags, especially by me, and I'm willing to bend to keep things on track. My main problem is the time spent outside of just playing and scoring. You wouldn't believe the time it takes to sort out an issue of not playing on time, not saving scorecard, being API'd etc. because of the way we are set up with a Society round and rounds being used for knock out's which have to be covered. It takes an unbelievable amount of time to get things sorted with messages backwards and forwards between captain's, possible subs and having to ghost rounds myself to get scorecards. I spend most weeks going up my own arse for one reason or another. And that's not fair and is one reason that had me heading for the exit. It's time I need to spend on my personal issues. I have a solution to solve that problem once and for all. Yes, I'd like to concentrate my play at Master level but that isn't the be all and end all. I've played well recently at Master while playing Pro. We sometimes have to be flexible to make things work. I'm prepared to change my plans to make the group work if needed. Any scores you need from the Xbox side of things just ask I can get them just tell me. |

Going to be a bit hectic at the start of next week with The Cyder Cup so we'll chat later in that week. That's one burden lifted for starters. The alternative obviously is to ditch them but I think most enjoyed them. |

I just did them myself using a random number generator this season. Fortunately I wasn't given the bye or there may have been complaints  |

That takes up a fair bit of time! I have no problem being a score scooper for X1 now that I've learned you don't have to play only the society rounds to grab scores. I always thought you had to play along side them and for your actually score and if you missed that, it was your only chance. Now that I know better, I can definitely help with that (and more efficiently). 🦊🍺 |

I have no problem being a score scooper for X1 now that I've learned you don't have to play only the society rounds to grab scores. I always thought you had to play along side them and for your actually score and if you missed that, it was your only chance. Now that I know better, I can definitely help with that (and more efficiently). 🦊🍺 To be honest with what I have in mind the onus will be on the player so it shouldn't be required. |
