Join, play, leave, rage quit or just piss off. Since I've been playing the cc events last couple weeks and doing ok (sitting in 9'th place in cca as of now.) I've decided to put up a new practice event in Soylent Greens. Just for some leader board chasing if people want somewhere or something to play. Mostly weather report settings and a little creative liberty for final round *high winds* to toughen it up as we know cc are set up too easy to placate the masses. 3 rounds this time to try and cover all weather report settings. 4 is too many, 3 is too, prefer 2 rounders.

OFTR Art Vandelay Wutpa Yeah, meagre points this week only. Shame really, i liked the course in general. Just have to avoid having the ball come to rest against the wooden steps or whatever the bunkers have as props. Could cost one a shot or 2.

Yeah I wasn’t a lover of the bunkers, nicely done and a great idea but it just didn’t work on a physical level . Hit the wood and you’re ball was most likely to bounce out not in.

Art Vandelay Rest O the World I had a lot of trouble on this course. It's a shame because the course is gorgeous. If only the greens were fair and there were fewer trees in the way, this could be considered a "best of the year" type course. Ah well, here you go.

S9 W4 R1 of Coming to America Accompanied by this week’s opposition partner Zookeeper Randy @zooby79, and pumped up by news from Capt. Ross that I only (ONLY, mind you) needed to card -1 to finish off the match in favor of the good guys. Ohhhh suuuurrre… double derps on two of the first three holes and I was staring at +3 after 3, while Randy wasn’t exactly showing me how to do it, either, further shredding my confidence. Made the turn at +1, as echoes of disappointed Gasms ran through my brain. Bleakness settled over the course as the only mark over the next five was another derp, and +2 seemed nigh impossible to overcome. I was resigned to failure. Then the skies parted and magic rained down… I proceeded to score THREE consecutive chip-ins for eagle/par/birdie, bringing the score down to -1, and I proceeded to wet ‘em. Played the final hole, par 5, conservatively and nearly blew it, as the birdie putt found itself a third gear. Left with a knee-knocker of a bending 8-footer, I clenched my teeth, my fists, and my bladder and… Randy, who masterfully played the back, offered congrats and trundled off to his clubhouse, still in disbelief of the chip-fest he had witnessed. Art Vandelay Wutpa Murica Rd 1: -1 Great match, Randy… sometimes luck conquers all. Foreward Gasms
