The Open & Shut Case, @ Royal Tr🚫🚫n.  I didn't hold out much hope that I could be a contender after a lacklustre opening round, but in R2 I had a double bogey and single bogey on the card before I'd even teed off on the 4th hole, so that was officially the end of that. Those high winds at Troon knocked my socks off, but after watching day one of the real thing I see that I'm in esteemed company in that regard. This was a nice version of the course though, and I'm almost as happy that I played it as I am that I don't have to play it again. Art VandelayWutpa |

Art Vandelay Wutpa note to self, maybe wait a bit before playing after travels on holidayGreetings! Opened my Open with an open and shut case of the fasts. Was +4 through 27 holes before finding some form and dragged my game back under par through 36. Apparently my birdie fest invite was sent to my holiday address and never caught up to me before rd 3. Still the card enabled me to catch and pass my long time frienemy IGolfBad Lawrence (I cannot lose to him, but I digress). Quite happy with my round 4 effort, only one Humph on the card.  Loved the course yeltzman , more of the same please. Onward!
