CC rounds 1.
Started well at -4 after five holes. Had an enormous frameskip on the 6th but still made birdie. Got another huge frameskip off the 7th tee and went out of bounds, my second ball coming to rest on a 1-ft downslope that would have taken it down to the hole, and made a double. 9 o'clock fast for my approach to the 11th. Another 9 o'clock fast for my approach to the 17th, after a perfect teeshot, left me purple. Then my teeshot off the 18th carried -- I sh*t you not -- around 10 yards in front of me and left me 359 yards for my second. The ensuing bogey has left me livid.
I just can't with this game sometimes. These frameskips will be the death of me.
Going back in for my second round with about as much enthusiasm as a Belgian who's just been told he has to sell his house that sits right next to the best knocking shop in Brussels.
I am, inevitably enough reminded of this: Warning: not for the faint-hearted! |

Knockouts  This was a nice looking course, apart from some of the clone planting that kind of did my head in. Anyway, I missed an easy birdie putt on the last which may come back to bite me in the ampleness of my posterior, but I scored better than I thought I would so I shall consider myself satisfied with that. prowse00 Art Vandelay |

Finished my 4 rounds for this week but can't get a copy of round 3 for a few hours. Round 3 was a -7. Tore my whole game apart and rebuilt it this week. Unfortunately, I rebuilt it as a spice rack. Rounds 1 and 2:  Round 4:  |

Knocked Out - BM R16 No shot. At first I could not get a swing right. Then could not make a single putt at the worst time, leading to a massive battering. As a final salt rub to my frustrations, just had to go and score something nice... when it no longer mattered. And then get some holes back... when it didn't matter. Either make it far or go out quick. I'm cursed. Always been my thing playing these games. Nothing I do makes any sense. TimB beats me by a mile. Good playing, good luck going forward.  prowse00
