Except my first round, not a bad week (would have finished middle of the pack if I had made the cut). R3:-6 R4: OFTR: I wasn't so happy with OFTR, despite having decent tempo. Flubbed a sand shot twice on #6.
Bogey Bonocore Super glad you are out of the hospital. Take all the time you need, just happy you are well enough you can get around all 18 holes! prowse00 Will play the knockout round next, once I figure out what course, etc. Off to dig through the posts. Found the society/course.

First time I played knockout and used a ghost. That was fun, but probably mostly because I was up 2 strokes after 2 holes. That said, I ghosted who I thought I was playing, but looking back, I think it was Ross. I am certain I am knocked out then! Edited again to say I am confused. I see I did Marcus in the Bloody Mary R32 but Ross in the Long Island Cup. I am confused!

You're in 2 competitions. Bloody Mary is all PC competition so you face off with PC opponents (same applies to all platform-exclusive ones, you're drawn only against ones on your own platform) and the Long Island is cross-platform which means you could face off against anyone on any platform. Your 1 round counts for both at the same time.

Hello Friends, Jim Nance here once again to bring you the action from week 2 of the Brew Crew season. In a season of change will we have a start to finish table topping team again or will the competition prove to be more fierce? Will the Bandits finally lose a match? Will the Casuals finally earn a W? These are all questions that will need answered as we look to the course for some clarity this week. This week the Crew visited North of the Border Tour for The Lake of Bays Classic where a challenging course for some led to some shocking scores this week. Enough with the small talk, letβs get to the action shall we? *Match lines provided by BINGBet* Dickens Cider Casuals (-1.5) v Rum Raiders Coming off a draw last week the Casuals looked to get into the win column for the first time since season 4. Their opponent would be a tough one in the Rum Raiders who took it on the chin last week and were looking to bounce back. Folks it was a bloodbath early as the Raiders came out flatter than a pancake and the Casuals took advantage sweeping the first two days to go out to a commanding lead. However, the Casuals celebratory Cider once again got the best of them as the Raidersβ furious rally began on day 3. A split of the opening match gave them their first points before winning the second. A win to open Day 4 by Captain Marc put the Raiders right back in it. However CF came through in the clutch for the Casuals putting the match away in the second match of the day. A couple of garbage time wins by the Raiders made the score closer than the match seemingly was as the Casuals secure their first victory since the opening weeks of season 4. Hobgoblins (-0.5) v Blame it on the Goose Coming off a dominating victory last week the Hobgoblins were riding high heading into this weekβs matchup. Their opponents, Goose, were looking to bounce back after a narrow defeat to open the season. Goose came out with the intensity of a thousand white hot suns and buried the Hobgoblins before they knew what hit them. A sweep of the first two days set the tone for the match and while the Hobgoblins began to claw back with a sweep of day 3, Goose slammed the door shut on day 4. Goose swept the day and it was even close as they won the match going away to surge up the table. Menace to Sobriety v Bear Necessities (-2.5) Menace entered the match coming off their close victory last week looking to keep up the momentum and set a course for the season. Necessities comes in off a draw last week that some would say was a victory that got away from them. Necessities played like they were angry about that result and looked to prove they should be regarded as one of the favorites this season sweeping the opening two days. Day 3 looked on its way to more of the same but Sean and Tim were able to get Menace on the board. Necessities closed the door for good with the opening match of Day 4 and emphatically slammed it shut by taking the remaining three matches for good measure in what was the biggest blowout victory the Crew has seen since The Season of Ross Bourbon Bandits v The Cupid Stunts (-1.5) The Bandits enter the match this week looking to keep their unbeaten streak alive. Facing off against the Stunts who were coming off a draw themselves in week 1. With both teams looking to bust into the win column this matchup was sure to be a tight one. Kings of the split this season the Bandits and Stunts split the opening day. Day 2 would shift the score slightly in favor of the upset-minded Bandits taking one match outright and a shocking come from behind draw in the second. Day 3 would provide yet another split and the Bandits headed into the final day up a point. A draw in the opening match kept the score close and the Stunts went on to take the next two matches to nose out in front by a couple points. However it would be Captain Scott who would come through in the clutch for the Bandits to keep the unbeaten streak alive securing a victory in the dayβs final match and securing the draw in the process. Team Scoreboard: Dickens Cider Casuals (-1.5) 11 v 9 Rum Raiders Hobgoblins (-0.5) 4 v 16 Blame it on the Goose Menace to Sobriety 2 v 18 (-2.5) Bear Necessities Bourbon Bandits 10 v 10 The Cupid Stunts (-1.5) Now, let have a look at our Next Gen Stats powered by AWS: The Semi-Centennial Club -Ross Nixon (-57) -Chris Grzesik (-50) Highest Team Score -Bear Necessities (-153) Top Individual -Ross Nixon (-57) -Chris Grzesik (-50) -Leon Anderson (-45) Low Individual Round R1 - Ross Nixon (-15) R2 - Ross Nixon, Chris Grzesik (-15) R3 - Ross Nixon (-17) R4 - Arthur Vandelay, Marc van Niekerk (-14) Team Points Leaders (8) -Chris Grzesik -Doe Coba Better Luck Next Week Blob Award -Nigel Keatley -Ken Lokosky OFTR Highest Scorer -Nigel Keatley (28) -Ross Nixon (26) -Jason Dowey, CF Gibson (23) Onward!

Pub crawl R1 & 2
R1 : -9 R2 : -5
Run a bit out of steam in R2. Tricky course, with water / OB lurking around in the shadow to catch your balls if you are not careful ... Enjoyed it (more in the first round than in the second one ).
Come on Casuals, after this nice win last week, lets keep the momentum going

Great winter course on Platinum this week π₯Ά, "On Frozen Pond". It has the great features of a snow βοΈ clad course without the fluorescent grid lines. Well worth a look π.

Pub Crawl Week 3 Rounds 1-3 Art Vandelay Apologies to my team mates. Just couldn't get any putts to drop in the first 2 rounds. In saying that, this is probably one of the harder courses I've seen in CC for a while. Finally got the putter to behave in the 3rd round. Hopefully it continues when I play the 4th round tomorrow. Definitely not a birdie fest this week. Great choice by the Tours Admin. Onwards Bandits π»

I did a quick run through on the cc course a couple days ago and found it to be a putters course. Greens are tough. (Wags will be in ballistic mode after this week.) Looking forward to it as putting has always been my strong suit. That said. Not playing the cc today. May do knockout and Roads but I'm too tired, run down and over all crappy feeling to go get the cat and knitting needles from the old lady. Don't have it in me to have to be "on my game" for all 4 rounds. Will just fart around Cyberpunk, Forza
....and Red Dead 2 (if I don't get myself banned, had been in a few day long ordeal of trying to get access to my account progression. New computer, no save, no cloud save, log in issues. They pretty much just ignored me for 3 days, even after I update the ticket explaining I managed to sort things out with my log in. I just get an email asking for the very information I provided when I opened the ticket. I explain that I have sorted things out for the most part. They reply with a copy and paste asking me stuff that was already provided. So with that in mind. As the Brew Crew head of complaints department, I will be using pre-fabricated reply number 1 "Go F U C K yourself" with an added bit of "Close this ticket, you can go back to your TikTok instram sh%$ now")
