decided to play my 1st game today since EA got released (although i still like that game this games swing mechanics where more difficult which i prefered only thing i would say is EAs putting is harder than 2k23 as in 2k when on
putting green distance is roughly worked out for you wheras on EA you have to work it out) (at least on tour mode anyway) so played in challenge circuit to test how kak i am since i been away
didnt seem like i lost a lot was -12 by 15th hole till i did a calamity & double bogeyed it ended up -12 at finish although should have been better i defo wont complain at that result
as playing on a nearly dead controller 2 but my fasts/slows werent too way off the mark
overall am glad to be back with you guys playing again

Art VandelayWeek 1 pub crawl, it’s good to be back in a division I can be competitive in Edit: Still tethered to my phone and the games playing ok  Round 4  OFTR I played this first to get my tempo adjusted and ran the batteries down in my calculator working out the huge elevation changes. Nice course but not a favourite won’t play it again if I don’t have to.

Pube Lice Week 1 Round 1 or Stunts? Leave Those for the Daring Youngsters  Took along teammate Jason crushtastic for some badly needed pointers.  Lasted all of one hole as my sole bogey to his birdie caused Jason to go off on a rage, screaming at me for something about “slow play”…  …and he stormed off, leaving me to finish the round alone.  Left to fend for myself, I couldn’t quite wrangle what were very favorable conditions, and while I did net some birds here and there, I spent the better part of the back nine on the par train.  Damage was minimal, but so was scoring, Art VandelayRd 1: -5   |

Art VandelaySlow start but got better and better. Had my sights on -60, thought it was out of reach needing 10 on the back 9 but a cheeky eagle on the 16th put me into contention. Only to flop on the final hole haha. Best ever CC score but can't say I really enjoyed it. Missing par felt like bogeys and it shouldn't be like that. Would highly recommend Elite course this week, well week 1 and 2, greens go a silly on R3 but a very nice challenge. OFTR - actually ended playing this first this week, was not ready for the elevation. As you can see took half the front to get my head around it but rest of the round came together quite nicely.

Anyone in the Crew a ranger?
Can you please lift the veil of secrecy and let me/us know what course is being used next week. Can you have them maybe put up a few weeks worth of events. Thanks
Main site, not updated, weather report blank, in game schedule only goes to current event.
Would like to have somewhere to play. Soylent would like to set up a practice round (s) as well.
May have to go play Kinetic or Elite.
Why the secrecy and delay for CC courses all the time? Here I am actually eager to play this game and there is no where to play.

Far too easy a course to be on CC. This is exactly why CC would be better off with less divisions and a Pro/Am type spilt. Don’t get me wrong, I thought is was a beautifully made course but something perhaps more suited to a casual game between mates rather than a tournament. Course Police please note I am NOT criticising the course just an opinion that it is too tame for a TGCT tournament. The designer should be applauded for the look and feel of the course. |

Just my opinion about this weeks CC course (have played it in a society a long time ago but not tee'd it up this week) but this course is from a quality designer but was added to the DB almost 1.5 YEARS ago. My point? 2K23 was still relatively new at that point and maybe the design was on par back then as far as playability and challenge. TGCT players have come a long way in that time, and maybe we are just used to more difficult designs that have come out more recently.
Again just IMO, YMMV.

Would be a totally different challenge when we were learning the game and building skills and fittings. I thought the course was beautiful but defenceless. |
