Count me in for next season too if that has been asked... the forum is a bear on mobile and I'm rarely on pc, so I didn't scroll back too far. Thanks!

Here we go then, the Bumble short of Par. R1, hole #1, I put my approach in the water. That one was on me, but it dropped me right behind the trees, so the second ball was wet. And then it did it again.....goodbye third ball. And before I even got to the second tee I had maxed out, and my card was destroyed and the match lost. So now I had 17 holes to play, and absolutely no point to it, apart from not being a sulky quitter, which I really, really wanted to be. I muttered dark, sweary epithets for the rest of the round, totally ticked off at the stupidity of this game dropping you somewhere virtually unplayable. Ah well, I managed to just drag myself back to the right side of par by the end, which felt like some kind of achievement after walking of that first green at +7. I then took some of that burning anger and channeled it into a -10 in R2, and even better I dropped -13 in R3. And that's where I should have stopped, because trying to play more than three rounds in quick succession usually shreds my concentration, which is exactly what happened here. -2 in R4, after I sprayed shots around like a helicopter's rotors. Art VandelayCertainly not how you want to start a round for sure...but did you know you could always drop back where you're last shot was from if you don't like where it drops you? On xbox controller, it is the right bumper I believe, and it will move the ball back to the tee, or where you shot your last shot. Not sure about pc , but I'm sure there is a way. Yes, I do that sometimes, but for whatever reason it didn't give me that option for the first drop. And by the time that ball went in the water too I was fizzing.

Rumble Week 1 Rounds 1 & 2 Art VandelayMade the cut (I think - will be close) in my first week in CC-I. But the real story is the PS leader and his horribly disfigured visage. #TitotsStrong

Wonderring if the 2 rounds were played by the same player ...
Great first round Tomi. Thanks for that mate 🤣. Second round 🤔. Bring it home strong mate 💪 👍🏼. Getting my Tomi's and Thomas's mixed up 🤪. Yet another Seniors moment. Well played Thomas 😀.

Rumble - week 1 Not great. For every one good round, there's one where very little goes my way. Gonna need a big week 2 to have any hope. Art Vandelay I'll get it right this time 😉. Great match Tomi.

First round just now was the best -11 I've ever shot, and I'll tell you why.
Missed a good birdie chance on the 1st. No problem, I thought; there's plenty of time to make up for it. Then I had an out-of-the-blue very slow off the 4th tee that barely went 3/4 of the distance. Somehow I made par, though.
Things improved, and I was stood on the par 5 9th tee at -7. I hit a perfect teeshot, leaving a perfect 5 wood for my second shot. The lake was about 15 or so yards in front of me. Due to the biggest frame skip I have ever seen, my shot carried all of 10 yards into the lake and I nearly vomited. Brain totally frazzled, I made a double to be only out in -5. "Deep breaths, Bear," I said.
Managed to shoot -7 for the first seven holes of the back 9. Hit a perfect teeshot on 18, to leave me around a 70-yard pitch. Birdie leaves me -13 for the round and, all things, considered pretty decent. The thing is, though, I didn't make a birdie. I didn't even make a par. My pitch shot went about 30 yards after another frame skip. Couldn't get it up and down and walked off with another dropped shot.
To say I'm raging is some kind of understatement. Played really well and only got rewarded with a -11 due to things beyond my control. I'm thinking of it as the -16 that got away. I'm hoping the time it has taken me to write this will help cool me off.
Right. Going back in for second round. I sincerely hope I don't get any kind of repeat of this garbage.

Didn't play nearly as well this round -- tbh, would rather have gone and played tiddlywinks in the middle of a motorway than play another round today after what happened in the first round -- but another frame skip that went sideways and into the lake off the 8th tee was just the icing on the cake of a really ****ed-up afternoon of golf.
