Not a good week against the Menace's, Art didn't use his Goldfinger, instead he used the Goldfist OFTR wasn't any better as we got steam rolled into the tarmac . Which leaves us bottom of the barrel or Dregs from the Kegs (old team name) Asyoudrawl are our opponent's this week. Pub CrawlAs with Tim TimB there are a lot of other games to play out there and EA's WRC about to enter the fray so fortunately back to my normal Sunday morning's to knock a bit of Brew Crew out. Used my Elite round as a warm up! Didn't bother finishing it!! A week that promised so much but kina fizzled out. Really enjoyable course which was fully expected coming from the designing talents of Eric. Not sure why Gareth Bale has owt to do with a golf game but there you go. Putting let me down a bit both in this a later in OFTR. Anyhows, here you go Art Vandelay   Where was this form last week 🤔. |

For those who like a serious challenge with conditions really cranked up and on a nice fun Pebble Beach type course then go to Oober’s Rub of the Green society for his weekend Tourney. It is his Major for the weekend Open challenge. During his 8 week season he draws up matches randomly on an Thur night and you go against whoever he draws. I’ve been playing it for a few months as the conditions are always tough with the wind. It starts on Friday and ends on Sunday night. I believe the new 8 week season starts next week and you can find it on discord if you want to play his weekend tourney. But anyway, the course this weekend is Stillwater Point and the Plat players are not even hitting double digits for their round as the course is a beast with some pin locations and with the winds cranked up. And it is on all platforms as well. Give it a go if you have time and need a nice warmup.

All my homework done for the week. Did 9 holes of the promo event but better judgement prevailed and I decided to quit for the day. Can only take so much of this game in one sitting when better and more enjoyable things are waiting. Like sticking a fork in a light socket, pouring acid on my Johnson, or playing Cities 2 or Forza. (haven't decided which I will play yet) Lets see. Who to tag 1'st. Lets go with prowse00

Round 4 After finishing off my Hockey rounds with 2 eagles I felt some confidence going into this round. OFTR 10 points I was all good shotted out by this round, birdie, bogey, birdie, bogey Is the Hockey and Pen back then? The hockey is back, yes, with some modifications to make it run more smoothly, be more coherent and seem less like listening to 20 angry cats in a cardboard box. It's now renamed the KHL (Kinetic Hockey League), but Pen is not back, not involved, and still MIA. |

There's five of us who are admins, four of which are in TBC: leading the charge is ss11, but also in that mix are Art Vandelay, runkibus and myself. The competition itself seemed like it could be good fun and after it/Pen imploded we thought it would be worth trying to resurrect it in modified form, to make it easier to follow and track results, and with less white noise. We're only in week 2 now but it's projected to be a 10 week season instead of the mammoth 5 month slog that it was in its first incarnation! |

Art Vandelay IGolfBad Pub Crawl - When you reach -10 for the first time on the back 9 of R3 (and it's not TST), you know it's going to be a good tourney.   Definitely missing the cut in CC-A this week. Gained back some ground in R4 (a wee bit late). Got my rounds in for the promo as well. Go Casuals! (This might be the week we blow it out of the water. My +2 will no doubt help us get there.  )  and R4 scorecard...

Crawl rounds 1 and 2.
Because I'm going away for a couple of days on a short break to Cornwall tomorrow -- to the Jamaica Inn, looking for hidden bottles of rum -- today is the first time ever I've submitted rounds on a Sunday.
It looked to be working out pretty decently in round 1, getting to -7 after 8 holes. Had one dodgy tempo after that. A bit disappointing, but I guess -12 was fair enough.
Round 2 was horrific. All the perfects and near perfects in round 1 were substituted by very fasts, very slows, and nowhere near the centre line. I have no idea what happened. Just couldn't hit any kind of shot at any point. Putting like a lemon didn't help either.
I was going to play my knockout round, but the steam from my ears is hampering my view of the monitor.
