Pub Crawl - week 4 end + OFTR Garbage way to end CC. Way too fortunate to not get the boot from Div 1 in the Rumble by my calculations. OFTR was not that good with the putter at times but the 2 eagles makes it nicer. Art Vandelay

I'm confused. Old Head Ireland again for OFTR? Maybe a keyboard malfunction. It's showing Redbone on pc starting tomorrow

Art VandelaySome weeks I am so close to giving up on this game. Played my last three rounds after each other and the inconsistancy of this game is aweful. Round 1 (round 3 of the cc-rounds) Tempo on my shots was really good and only had a few shots where I made mistakes. Putting worked fine - no problem hitting my puts and my pace on the puts was great. I just had my usual problem woth puts between 4-10 feet where I cannot get whether it falls 3 cups or goes dead straight, but that all me. All in all played great and scored pretty well: -9 Round 2 (round 4 of cc-rounds) Tempo was all messed up and I didn't hit a proper tempo all round. I had slow and very slow and I had fast and very fast. I had trouble getting the put to go and I had no control over the pace - sometimes it was fine and sometimes my put went to or three times the distance. All in all nothing worked and scored horribly: Even par Round 3 (OFTR) Tempo was perfect and had only 1 slow which I could clearly feel Putting pace I had full control again and had no problem hitting my puts All in all everything worked fine and round score: -12 i.imgur.com/b8SGNub.jpg

Art VandelayPub Crawl Scraped over the line for first ever sub 50. Shanked driver on 18, heart in mouth but it crept over the water. Quick change of pants and closed it out. Cheers.

Hello Friends, Jim Nance here to bring you the best of week 4 of The Brew Crew season. Can the Rum Raiders continue to keep pace? Will the Dickens Cider Casuals finally break into that win column? We shall see. This week The Crew visited Paragon Valley for the Autism Speaks Charity Championship in which a variety of conditions kept the Crew on their toes. Now, let’s jump on in to the action (Match lines provided by DraftBings Sportsbook). Dickens Cider Casuals v Bulldog Brewers (-1.5) The Bulldog Brnewers come into this match riding high off their first victory of the season and we’re looking to keep the Casuals winless on the year. A day 1 split showed the Casuals were here to play but they came up just short of a full split on day 2 giving the Brewers a slight advantage going into day 3. Things looked bleak for the Casuals and Captain Carol rallied her troops to sweep the third day. Day 4 was a day for the Casuals however as they took 3 of 4 matches and split the 4th to secure the come from behind draw Rum Raiders (-0.5) v As You Brew The Rum Raiders enter the week as slight favorites against As You Brew coming off a resounding victory last week to help them keep pace at the top of the table. Their run of good form continued early in this match as they were able to take 3 of 4 from the opposition to open up an early advantage. A day 3 split put the pressure on the defending champs. They would not however, rise to the occasion this week. Captain Ross was able to put up a dominant performance in match 1 but the Raiders took the remaining 3 in what proved to be a surprising blowout. Hobgoblins v Bourbon Bandits (-3.5) The Hobgoblins were looking to bounce back after last week’s upset loss but were facing quite the uphill battle as they welcomed the red hot Bandits into town. Despite having the Force on their side, the Hobgoblins dropped 3 of 4 to the Bandits on the opening two days as the Bandits continued to show why they sit atop the league table. Day 3 proved to be more of the same with the Bandits sweeping both of the day’s matchups and they continued to pour it on on day 4 winning 3 out of 4 matches. The lone points on day 4 were from Paul who defeated the Bandits’ captain in a thrilling head to head duel that featured a combined -19 over the last 10 holes. The Bandits however continued to roll as they cruised to victory. Menace to Sobriety (-2.5) v The Cupid Stunts Menace looked to continue the Stunts losing skid as they clashed this week. Kicking a team while they were down, Menace took it to the Stunts sweeping the opening two days and looked poised to send the Stunts to their third consecutive massive defeat. The Golden One implored his team to keep the pressure on as day 3 began and they responded. A sweep of day 3 and the Stunts stared defeat in the face before scoring a point. A day 4 split with Michael and Chuck getting the Stunts on the board secured the third consecutive crushing defeat for the Stunts as Menace cruised to their first victory of the season Team Scoreboard: Dickens Cider Casuals 10 v 10 Bulldog Brewers (-1.5) Rum Raiders (-0.5) 14 v 6 As You Brew Hobgoblins 4 v 16 Bourbon Bandits (-3.5) Menace to Sobriety (-2.5) 16 v 4 The Cupid Stunts Now, let have a look at our Next Gen Stats powered by AWS: The 60 Under Down Under -Ross Nixon (-62) The Semi-Centennial Club -Craig Henderson (-57) -Trevor Mendez (-52) Highest Team Score -Rum Raiders (-177) Top Individual Scorers -Ross Nixon (-62) -Craig Henderson (-57) -Trevor Mendez (-52) -Chris Grzesik (-49) Low Individual Round R1 - Craig Henderson, Jason Dowey (-16) R2 - Ross Nixon (-19) R3 - Charles Lindbergh, Ben Tough, Ross Nixon (-13) R4 - Ross Nixon (-18) Team Points Leaders (8) -Trevor Mendez -Tony Runkle -Craig Henderson -Nate Lewis Better Luck Next Week Blob Award -Jason Dowey -Stevie Surgeon -Randy Zubowicz -Leslie Sangster -Doe Coba OFTR Highest Scorer -Tony Runkle, Paul Matchen (28) -Tim Brantford (27) -David Stevenson (26)
